If I could leave a 0 rating I would. This branch has the worst customer service in Chico. Whenever I go in it is the same 2 women working and they are very rude and spend more time talking to each other than talking to me. Every single time I go in there I am the only customer and that is because they are so rude and have no customer service at all. I am considering switching banks because of these 2 women that represent the Banner Bank in Chico. If you are thinking about becoming a Banner Bank customer and you live in Chico I would look around first.

How is anyone who is employed supposed to ever get ahold of the bank/go in if theyre only ever open during average work hours and closed weekends with no sort of extra services? Also I’ve called and turned off overdraft like 4 times and its STILL overdrafting my account.

Brian the branch manager has been outstanding to work with. He was very helpful on our home equity loan. I would definitely recommend this bank !

This bank dings you for every single thing you do. There is a fee for everything. Services that used to be free for most banks, they charge you for. Bill pay? Monthly fee Want a paper statement? Monthly fee Don't want a paper statement? Monthly fee Want to see an old statement past 16 months? $5 for each statement I could go on but they'd probably charge me a fee for doing so. I'm done with these greedy ba$tard$ I've opened an account with a credit union where they treat their clients as more than just a source of money grabs. Plus the credit union pays way more interest on your money and charges way less on their credit cards.

Very rude and unpleasant. I went in to get money I pulled out of their outside ATM changed into large bills. They gave me a song and dance about how the 20 dollar bills I was handing them from THEIR machine could be counterfeit and therefore they couldn't help me. Bank elsewhere if you don't like being insulted.

Love this Banner Branch! Danielle who has helped me most is a pleasure to deal with! Her helpful personality is appreciated. Brian the branch Manager also is very helpful. So much so i moved my personal banking & Business Banking to Banner Bank. I was at my previous bank over 25 years! Highly Recommend Banner Bank mostly because of the exceptional Service! Thank You!

Worst experience EVER to activate a debit card in my LIFE! This took over 15 minutes. I had to sit through 3 ads for services to reach a person then you are answering questions. I had 2 more ads for services before receiving my confirmation number. I'm still not convinced they didn't sign me up for services I didn't want. This was insane! I'm thinking about closing my account so I don't have to deal with this service line ever again. Discovered the next day I had a service I declined charged to my card. Tried calling the 800 number I was given when activating my debit card. It's a phone number for real estate listings. I will be moving my account elsewhere.

So sad that an extremely rude young woman works at this local branch and doesn't treat her customers respectfully. Will not be banking here much longer. Being pleasant and helpful goes a long way and yet not only is this person not pleasant and not helpful, she is condescending and oftentimes downright rude. Thankfully we have a choice to not do business here. The manager should probably pay some extra attention to how his employees behave.
