I am very happy with the care and encouragement I receive at Basis Gym. They have options for all ability levels. The trainers promote good health. India has great ideas and is leading my journey. I can count on Noel and Andrew to lend knowledgeable support.

Large variety of workout options! Weights (4 different programs per week), aerobic training (TZT, AZT, VO2). And, most importantly, a well trained, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff. Basis is the best gym in town.

Knowledgeable trainers who get you to your goals safely and fast. Highly recommended! Clases available if you like group workouts.

Noel Castrejon brought me to this gym. And once I walked in, everyone was very warm and welcoming. While participating in the conditioning class, a woman was kind enough to take time to help me with a workout. Going to a new gym can be intimidating, but not once did I feel that way. The encouragement by the man leading the class was great to have! Really enjoyed it overall.

It’s an amazing gym. The only issue is last of cooling system. Difficult in high 90s/100s.

I've been looking for a gym in Chico since I moved back to the area. Basis is something with a great balance of it all. I feel like Basis was all of what I was hoping to find and more. It's always hard leaving a gym you love when a move is involved and I'm so happy that I came across Basis to create my new gym fam.

Wide variety of classes and skill levels. Each class I've participated in so far has felt low pressure, but encouraging and well paced. I also love that classes are available in times that are easily attendable (before 9AM and after 5PM). I especially enjoy some of the unique movements that are part of each set. It is great to have a trainer there to assist if needed.Overall, a seemingly tight-knit, but open-armed group of proactive individuals trying to better themselves. A great culture that we are fortunate to have in Chico, CA.

The coaches are wonderful and they care about the quality of the movements/exercises. They teach in a way that allows people do things well so they don't get injured and get strong at the same time. ❤️

Basis is amazing! I am getting stronger, learning more about my body, class size is small, coaches are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and it's a really fun community to be a part of! Highly recommend!

I have been with Basis from the beginning! The trainers are incredible and continue to hone their craft regularly to bring the most current information for our workouts. They are inovative and have a deep care and conviction of doing what is best for their clients. I recommend this gym for any age young or old. And....their Kinstretch class is a game changer!!

I really enjoy this community and feel welcome and supported in a way I never have in a gym, or even a yoga class in a long time. There's a lot of attention to body health and mechanics, never pushing past one's limits.

Basis is not just a gym, it's a community. The coaches are extremely attentive to each persons goals, strengths, and limitations and it seems like there is nothing offered that they aren't willing and able to tailor to just about any level of ability, mobility, and strength. This place has taught me so much about movement and my own body and taught me how to develop a movement practice with longevity as the first consideration. Basis is the best!
