It is a wonderful place if you like to read or need to do some research. You can get a library card for free and check books out. There is also computers available for us and printer ? if need be. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit and us. They also have used books for sale out front for .25s or .50s. Grat deals on used books. They also have a big room you can rent out for events for $55.00. You just have to go to the website and sign up.

It is june 17 2023. Your library is CLOSED TODAY due to JUNETEENTH. question...WHY did your GPS THING here say it was OPEN? I went to return a dvd but it was CLOSED, so I WASTED a trip!!

They had a very well organized library, sorted out into different age groups! They also have several tabled for studying or reading. There's a self checkout for when you need to loan out books, and it's quite easy too. There's even some games to play here too! And a seed box! Many different fun and amazing things here! Definitely recommend

Fantastic resource for the community. The staff is committed and passionate about reading and learning. I like to sit and read for hours when I feel like having some calm time. I can't say enough good things about the Chico Library!

The people who work here are grear and the little library is sweet and decently stocked. The three star review is because I'm just so fed up with terrible hours and lack of open days for my family to frequent this location. Chico needs to make their Library a priority.

I am so grateful we have a wonderful library with such great resources. My best finds are the Libby app, where I get all my free Kindle books and Universal Class. I take all sorts of professional and personal development courses for FREE. Invaluable.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Libraries' noise levels are different now, we are in a new age and we don't have to be so quiet anymore!!!
