Halo needs to get a new medical biller, Its now been a year and two weeks still waiting for them to bill the secondary insurance company. I have sent 6 emails called them over 10 times and they still can't get it right. I have talked with Armando at the Chico branch who assured me that he would take care of this problem and we still can't get the bill right. I talked with my insurance company who said they would be happy to pay the bill if they would submit it. Our plan is to never use Halo again. Patients beware.Clifford SmithChico Ca.

I'm truly thankful for the team at Halo; from the office staff to the techs, doctor and beyond. All were so kind, compassionate and caring. I felt so at peace with the care they provided. Very professional and on top of everything, happy to know I'm in good hands and loving hearts.Wish I could name all the team members that helped me, but they all were so nice and on top of their jobs.Thank you, Halo! ? ?

I told them the truth when they called guess they didn't like that. I went in to make appointment and did. Couple of days later I hot a phone call from someone named Jackie saying I was rude and that had a note not to let me make a appointment and they didn't want me as a patient. When she told me that I just said oj. Then she called me back less than 5 min later telling me not to call and complain I told her I didn't I told you ok and you hung up on me then you called me back told me not to complain. If I was you I wouldn't trust these people that work there. There is better places in Chico

I left with a changed attitude. Let's just say, I did not deserve the generosity that the girls at the check in counter and the tech extended to me. They were full of grace and mercy and beyond professional. I was half asleep and cranky. It was then I realized I was showing signs of my grandmother. I was quickly humbled & sorry for my shortcoming. Thanks for the reminder Halo. Be kind and smile.

Halo is special in Breast Cancer Awareness Month :) Weekend walk ins, mimosas and massage in October - professional, no wait, and my technician Lana was efficient, knowledgeable and made me sooooo comfortable ... I'm only sorry you MEN out there don't get this kind of treatment when you go to the urologist for a prostate exam ? You're missing out, boys!

I feel so comfortable in there care. They give great service. My biopsies were easy and healed well, they know what they are doing. They did a better job than the other place, with less pain. Can't say enough good things about the service I received. ♥

This clinic went from a 5 to a ZERO!!! I am a cancer survivor. I have a LOT of pain and complications from advanced cancer treatment. When I originally arrived to Halo, the staff were kind and considerate. They brought me back and understood I was in pain and did their best to help me get through the appointment. I needed to return for another more advanced series of films due to an area of concern in my left breast. I showed up for the appointment, they were notified that I had severe pain in my feet and legs from neuropathy, so they kindly had a chair available for me to sit in while the images were being looked at by the DR. The technician was having a hard time getting the proper view for the DR and I spent a good 1/2 to 3/4 hour there with her going back and forth with the MD......she had to take at least 6 different images/views. The appointment ended and I left. I was still grateful and felt good about the experience. I then had to go in for a stereostatic biopsy. I arrived to my appointment sick to my stomach and in a great deal of pain, but cooperated with the staff and I did everything they requested of me. I had a great deal of pain through the appointment, the doctor never achieved full anesthetic, but I did not complain, I just wanted to get through the appointment so I could go home, which I did in record time. I had little post-op pain or complications....so I was feeling good about the experience still at this point. Then everything fell apart! The report sent to my MD was reviewed and I was told there was an area that needed watching, but for now I was OK. Then, a month AFTER the placement of the breast clip, I woke up with intense pain at the placement site! I was in MORE pain that I had after surgery. I called the office and as I was unable to get a live person to answer the phone, I left a DETAILED message about my sudden increase in pain and asked for a call back. This was on a Thursday late afternoon and by end of day Friday, no one had returned my call. Monday came around and the pain, although still there, was not as bad as it was, so I let it go, albeit upset that I did not get a call back. Then, I got a half interrupted message from the nurse who assisted the MD with my biopsy, and in that message she asked if I had met with the breast surgeon yet. I had not heard anything about needing to see a surgeon so I called Halo to speak with the nurse who left the message. I again had to leave a detailed message in her voice mail and asked for a call back to clarify what was going on..........I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!!! I have today been reading the post operative reports that Halo sent to my both my primary care doctor and my cancer doctor and found that the doctor included a phrase in his findings that I take great offense to!! In it he claimed that "the patient was uncooperative"?????? First off, the doctor was not even in the room when I was having my imaging done, and second.....I did EVERYTHING that the technicians asked of me! I got up and stood for every single additional film she needed to take. If the appointment took longer than it should have it was on the tech as she could not get the right angle and could not take a proper image! I called today in a hot moment and complained to their "manager" and was told that they as a clinic have no control over what the DR's choose to write in their notes! I take great offense to them saying I was not cooperative as I mentioned I did everything that was asked of me and I did not complain about the appt taking too long, or the fact I was in pain. As a cancer patient, this kind of care is irresponsible. If follow-up care is important to you, if you want calls returned...do NOT GO HERE! I asked for a call back from the staff that assisted that day to have them try to explain how exactly I was "uncooperative" and I know I will never get that call! Enloe Comprehensive Breast Care is a better option! NOTE: they will send you a FAKE HONEY COATED APOLOGY on your complaint, but they don't follow up on it!

I had my first MRI ever here for my lumbar spine area. The staff were really helpful and kind. It was an easy going experience that made a stressful situation more comfortable. I highly recommend. Thank you!

I live in Redding and I needed a stereotactic biopsy and the wait time was 2 months out so my primary care doctor said to call HALO. I am so happy I did. They arranged to not only do my stereotactic but my other 2 biopsies during the same visit. The staff was so kind and efficient from office staff to all those that did the procedures on 4/20/23.I was nervous but Sarah R. was by my side every step of the way. She was so kind. I also had Janet and Dr. Letner perform my procedures. They were patient, thourough and professional and instilled confidence the entire way.Thank you all for making a scary day as smooth as possible.

My first time there, as my doctor used to do at Mangrove Med. Have to say scheduling appt. and staff were great and timely. My technician was friendly, but procedure hurt more than I've ever had in 30 years! When I got home and in shower, I noticedsmall red cuts below both breasts that stung with soap and water contact.I called on Monday and left message with nursing supervisor voicemail, but still haven't received follow up .Its healed yet I'd hate for someone else to have this happen.
