Do not take ur special needs kids here, my 3 year old son was turned away despite us sitting in the chair, going out to my car for 2 moments to get him comfortable and coming right back back in. Was told that they had another appointment in 15 mins, when my appointment at just started 8 mins prior? So from my understanding they planned to cut my special needs sons air in les than 25 mins? Unacceptable. I would give no stars if I could.

I would not recommend this place at all, they advertise as if this is truly kids friendly but it is a regular salon! If your child is special needs, slightly scared of haircuts and may need a few minutes to get on the chair do not waist your time. I am extremely disappointed and feel as though I was left embarrassed at the front desk(2 other moms present) and the workers turned me away because I had to prepare my 3 year old for his haircut. This is horrible service and I will be reaching out to management!

Booked an appointment online, it was super easy. Great experience for my 3 year old daughter's first haircut. Got the fairy package and a certificate at the end! They only have one girly salon chair but she was happy with Lightning McQueen. Krysten was super sweet, patience, and she knew what she was doing! My little one's hair looks great. Plus, my older kiddo was happily waiting in the game room area.

Over all wasn’t a bad experience but wasn’t the best either. Took my daughter in for her first hair cut and left kinda of disappointed. The experience over all wasn’t necessary bad but wasn’t what I went in expecting. She got a “dry” hair cut (not even the slightest bit of wet) and only got about like a quarter inch off maybe a little less than that (honestly wouldn’t even consider it a first hair cut.) From reading what a child is supposed to get “ Every child leaves styled with color spray, cute flowers, or sparkles.” we left with none of the above and I was highly disappointed as I was hoping to give her the best experience. I could’ve said something sure but the lady who was doing her hair seemed like she was done with the day and I didn’t want to annoy her more as it seemed as if she was annoyed already. We did add in the fairy package and it was about a DIME size tattoo and flower crown that she pinched the back of to make it fit her head. I don’t know if I’d go back or recommend it to someone else to go there and try. If you are a little more voice full it’s worth a shot!

Kaylie gave my daughter her first hair cut! Kaylie was so sweet and patient. I didn’t have an idea of what to do for her my daughter’s first cut. She explained a few options and I felt very confident in her expertise. I will definitely return to Kaylie.

My kiddo has gone in for years for special needs haircuts. We stuck with miss Leveroni for years as she also had expertise outside the hair industry working with special needs children. The last 3 special needs haircuts we have received have been rushed and for all intents and purposes, may as well have been a regular haircut because no one left there is even somewhat experienced in that area. It is very unfortunate. For neurotypical kids this place is fantastic but I am not sure I would recommend to anyone with a special needs child.

Amazing ! Amanda you are amazing! I apologize on my super late review! We drove our family of 5 from Redding to Chico for my middles first haircut! Amanda did a wonderful job with the crazy screaming mess my boy was for his first time! My was he rowdy, but I appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding. The whole staff too! Very nice and professional, the place was super clean & adorable. I have 3 boys and they loved the play waiting room, it was an amazing little area that my oldest was able to wait and create and play and I felt safe with him in there while me and dad switched turns with the crazy boy and baby.. The staff was great with him and us! Amanda I can't say enough how much I thank you, my boy is so happy and free feeling, when we left he became a whole new boy. I hope he will do better within time but I assure you we will be back (just with a calmer experience lol). Highly recommend this salon for kiddos! I posted before & after pictures, yelp put them out of order lol Thank you so much again Amanda

My sons was getting his first hair cut I was excited had it scheduled for a week I believe before hand they called me the same day of the appointment and canceled it told me last min I could come in now which I couldn't it was the time where my son had to eat he is 1.5... 2 weeks went by I scheduled again with a different lady she was very nice we got the first hair cut special which didn't include everything it states I guess you have to ask for each item yourself... soo customer service was a bit off... the lady gave us a messy lock of WET hair in a plastic baggy... a week later I come to find that the bag of WET hair she gave us started growing mold... so we had to throw it away made me sad... I know he's a kid and all and it's hard to cut their hair but the cut was soo choppy and butchered and my son sat still for her to do it. All in all the lady was nice but who puts a lock of wet hair in a bag...

Took my 4 year old daughter here for her first official haircut. Our stylist was Autumn and she was amazing! Very friendly and did a great job. Would definitely recommend and will be requesting Autumn for future appointments

Autumn was awesome with my 6 year old son! We drive from Orland because my kiddo is super wiggly, and he loves coming here! Best place to get your kid's hair cut!

Latasha wasn't very welcoming and was rude at times to my 8 year old. She seemed frustrated with having to give my daughter instructions while cutting her hair. This was surprising because their service seems to cater towards little ones. My daughter said she would never go there again.

I give props to anyone who cuts kids hair, does a good job, and sticks with it. That’s worth something, but I will never pay, or recommend someone else to pay $28 for a kids haircut when the two women at the front desk can’t even get off their phone to greet us when we come in admiring the place. Both of them remained seated with their attention on their phones while I commented on how cute the game room was. At that moment I noticed a musty, stagnant smell, and the dingy lighting ( not ideal for hair cutting) when one of them says, “we have appointments coming in”. I was shocked! However, I was not shocked that the cave was empty. No pleasant sounds, no customer service, no kids, and basically no reason to ever go back there.
