The people are nice but getting a prescription filled is an exercise in frustration. You will get a message telling you your Rx is ready. When you drive over to pick it up they don't have it. Your doctor will call in a prescription and tell you to pick it up that afternoon. 24 hours later it is still not ready. A prescription on automatic refill doesn't get filled until you are down to just two days pills left. You call and the recorded message says they don't have it but if you go there they say they do. They tell you they have it but then they can't find it. They seem to have a LOT of turnover, which makes me wonder if their employees are just as frustrated as their customers.

I just went in to this CVS on Forest Ave. in Chico, Ca. to get a copy done. It is Saturday May 7th at 7:15PM. I asked the person in the print/photo area how to work the scanner and computer and she had an attitude from the start. She just starred at me with a nasty stare when all I did was say hello. So I said it again and there was still an attitude. I had a major issue with her attitude when I asked her about which button to press on the computer as it moved to the second screen and she threw a box down in a rage to definitely convey to me that I am disturbing her and walked over to me in a very disgruntled manner. I said to her at that point that she is to drop the f'in attitude. Then I asked to see the manager. She then proceeded to tell me in a yelling voice that she is the manager and then she said to me to get out of the store that no one will help me here. I said no, I will not leave and that she is going to help me. She still proceeded on her idiotic tirade and I left when I felt the need to do so because she was becoming a waste of my time. I also told her that am going to report her for harassing a handicapped man and not helping him with a simple question. I truly hope action will be taken against this unprofessional so called manager. I certainly intend to take action against it. I didn't and don't tolerate being treated that way. I have been coming to this faculty for over six years and have never seen such outrageously discriminatory behavior. I have been a customer with my family of CVS for over 40 years and this is not the way that the CVS corporation rolls. This behavior is not tolerated. She truly should be terminated. If in fact she is manager, that is not management material. Thank you. Eli S.

This pharmacy is absolutely the worst. There are 3 in Chico. Forest is the worst. There has been high turnover and it is severely understaffed. They run out of inventory regularly. But, this has been going on since at least 2018 when I moved to Chico. In order to get your prescription filled you have to make 2-3 trips to the pharmacy because they don't prioritize what you order on the app and you cannot get correct information on the automated call line. My time is important. I'm done with being treated rudely and being lied to and waiting in long lines. So, I'm done. I gave them the benefit of doubt due to pandemic. It's now obvious the corporation as a whole is dysfunctional. Stores are filthy too.

The pharmacy is woefully understaffed. Not complaining about their effort, but the company unable to either meet or sustain the volume. One staff member at checkout, completely alone and unable to handle any volume of customers as a lone soldier. Pharmacy will say it's busy and come back in 3 hours...fine, no problem. Come back in 3 hours and told the same. Moving all my prescriptions to Costco as it's much cheaper and seems they actually try to maintain staff to accommodate demand.

Horrible service. Here's the deal, I understand that you guys are short staffed and you had to do overtime the other day but EVERYONE ELSE IS DEALING WITH THE SAME THING. So you going ahead and telling me to get a job because I am a young college student, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT. I Am full time college student with a full time job ALREADY! (and by the way, I work overtime as well practically everyday). I have worked hard to get where I am. I don't need someone to yell at me because I decided to come into the pharmacy while I was on hold for the 7th time. Im here to get my medication not to get told "get a job." Worst customer service I have ever had. In the past 3 days I have called 7 times with all of them on hold for 30 min or more and then i'm the one that gets yelled at?!?! and to be honest I shouldn't even be calling because my prescription should've been ready 3 DAYS AGO. Here's a little piece of advice, don't judge people from their age, height, weight, style, culture, skin ECT IT WILL GET YOU NO WHERE IN LIFE. you do not know my backstory so why do you even THINK it was ok to do that.

The management refuses to enforce mask mandate. Walking around a pharmacy with sick people coughing all over is dangerous. The new cash register set up is confusing. I feel sorry for the employees. I heard one employee getting yelled at because they didn't enforce masks and another one because the customer was mad they had to check out their own items. Employees are risking their health and treated like garbage. Customers health is at risk but I guess it's profitable for the company?

Worst customer service in Pharmacy. Unhelpful, VERY slow, flat affect like they are burned out and don't care. Over 30 minutes on hold--TWICE. no one ever picks up. So sad these people are a part of Chico healthcare system. Nurse practitioner Anthonia Okeani WOULD NOT help us since she wasn't getting paid by them today, she was working for one of her other three jobs. REALLY? You're supposed to help tires patients, not just collect a paycheck because you're on the discharge paperwork (for a simple covid test). Bet you're making YOUR parents proud.

This place is a joke. They will not answer the phone. I have been trying to get a prescription since last Friday. I needed to confirm that they received approval but can not do over the phone since they will not answer. I have had several other issues with this pharmacy. I do not recommend using this CVS

Do not go here for a covid test for travel Do not pay them for an expedited test result They will simply blame the lab and when you call the lab, the lab blames them You'll miss your trip, they will take your money and best of all they will not care one bit. I would leave zero stars but it won't let you

The reviews for the pharmacy only. Loved at this location until I had to deal with the son of a b**** yesterday, when I called the pharmacy to simply get my prescription delivered to me, since it wouldn't let me do it from my profile on the CVS website. The man at the pharmacy who answered was a complete waste of life, sack of s**** Rude and vile to the core! I have complained to corporate maybe 3 times in my life, based off customer service I received, and this was one of those times. They profusely apologized, said they will pass it on to upper management, and said they will deal with it. I have zero confidence anything will be done that's useful, but I did all I could do and had my prescriptions transferred to a different CVS, where they're capable of providing professional customer service.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Be prepared to have your prescription not ready or processed when it should be.

Never in my life have I experienced customer service so very poor from a pharmacy. I spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting to find the status of my prescription which had been called in by my doctor 4 days previously. Finally, I drove to the store while still on hold to complain, but I nothing but extremely rude service from all at the store. I was honestly frightened that the pharmacist was going to punch me when he came out from behind the counter to face off with me and then chase me out of the store.

I checked my prescription for antibiotics to treat a very painful uti and was told itd be ready at 8:45. So I figured I get off work at 9pm, I can swing by and grab it on the way home from work. After suffering through work, in a lot of pain, I get to the store and the pharmacy is closed. The pharmacy closing earlier than the store itself was not indicated on the locations information. Being very tired and in pain I figured I just ask the staff and see. I go up to the pharmacy section and explain that I'm in pain and I was hoping if there's anyway I can get my antibiotics. Instead of just giving me a yes or no answer, they criticize me tell me you should've gotten there sooner. I get frustrated. They get frustrated. And as the person who is in pain, seeking medication, I think it's incredibly poor employee conduct for them to berate and put down someone who started the sentence with "hey there I'm in a lot of pain from a uti is there any way.." To be met with anything but a simple yes or no. But instead I was mocked and ridiculed. And then to be berated for being clearly tired and upset. I'll be moving all of my medications from the pharmacy, aside from having to go there in the morning to pick up my antibiotics. Do not come here. The pharmacy is the absolute worst. Clearly the staff are overworked and frustrated. I don't want to believe that they would actually be this inadequate and frankly indifferent to the people who get their medications here. But I think a poor work environment has definitely facilitated them behaving this way. This is not the first time I've had problems with them, but I will make sure this is the last. Any pharmacy is better.

They were so slow it was ridiculous. They had two people working when I first got here and slowly 2 more people came in. They were so understaffed they shouldn't have been open.

They mess up my prescription Every. Single. Time! EXAMPLES: 1. It's "out of stock," when I go to pick it up, even though I got a text saying it was ready for pick up, and I'm told to call my doc to have the Rx transferred to another pharmacy to be filled. I do, and am told by my doc that CVS should've just given it back to me to take elsewhere. So, I go back to CVS, wait in line again, and am told it's NOT out if stock after all, buuut it won't be ready for 2 days! 2. They refuse to release my Rx, (after notifying me that it's ready and after I wait in line for 30 minutes), without additional info from my doc., Then I call my doc's office and it turns out the error is the pharmacy's. So I have to go back and wait in line, again (the wait is always crazy-long).. 3. They won't call my doc's office themselves, so I have to call, wait for a call back, then go back to the pharmacy. 4. They either don't answer their phone at all or put you on hold for 20 minutes+. I have waisted SO much time each month trying to get my Rx's filled at this pharmacy that I am switching pharmacies. In fact, my doc told me yesterday that he's had 3 patients, this week alone, ask to switch from CVS on Forest to a different pharmacy. The fact that CVS on Forest is conveniently located just 1/4 mike from my home doesn't outweigh the inconveniences they cause.
