Lived in the Mechoopda St complex. Absolutely ridiculous I only had a bad experience here. All the windows are single pane and none of the door fits correctly. The building is from the 70's at least and seems like not much has been updated. Yet they charge so much for "repairs" and "damages" that have easily been there since the building has been built. Not to mention when I moved out they deducted so many "cleaning fees and repairs". Absolutely ridiculous because when we moved into the apartment it wasn't in great condition. Talking to neighbors it is clear that they do not care about their tenant's experiences and just want that rent check. Nothing good about them would recommend any other place to rent. I moved to Campos Properties and love it! They are the best and make it very clear that not all landlords are there to just take advantage of their tenants. I'm not sponsored or affiliated with them I just want to let people know there are way better places to live where you are cared about by the landlords. I easily spent more time cleaning then I was charged for. I have nothing good to say about this business they are bottom feeders. All of this is my opinion and not advice or recommendations.

Your experience with Everett will be a reflection of you as a tenant. If you follow your lease, you'll never have an issue. You'll get a VERY fair return on your deposit.BUT if you decide to throw ragers, trash the place, never file maintenance requests, and break the lease? Ho boy, you'll have a miserable time and not get a cent back from your deposit. It's amazing what people will do and then get all surprised when it bites them in the butt.I lived at College Park Plaza for five and a half years. Everett was always kind and helpful. The managers and maintenance were always amazing, always doing their best to help me.Just don't email Everett, they'll never answer. Just call.

Lori Curtis is textbook definition of scum lord. My partner and I rented a property at Everett Apartments where our PG&E rates were unusually high. We had Everett Apartment’s maintenance team come in to identify the issue and their own team confirmed our air vents/ducts were smaller than most of their updated properties and therefore our furnace/ac had to run twice, maybe even three times as hard. Lori Curtis stated they would do nothing about the issue and that our PG&E rates were our fault for running it so high at 68°F we confirmed with neighbors who were receiving lower rates and running their systems over 70°F. My partner and I had PG&E come down to assess the situation and they confirmed our apartment was the only apartment in the whole complex with an outdated furnace which was half the size of the neighboring apartments in the same complex. To no avail, Lori Curtis did not step in to resolve the issue. I understand she did not build the complex herself but she should manage and make sure all her buildings and apartments are up to date and match each others equipment. A second issue where we placed a pet deposit of 200$ on our pet dog who we later registered as an Emotional Support Animal and she refused to release our pet deposit which is in direct violation of the Fair Housing Act’s accommodations, while our pet did cause damages we were fine with reductions, she stated we had to receive our deposit back from our roommate who stayed behind. Do not trust these people with your money. They will scam you to hell.

First of all, there is no insulation in the walls so when it's hot, touch the wall and it is hot. When it's cold, the wall is cold. My neighbor put a hole into an exterior wall and there was sand about a quarter way up the wall, then nothing but air.Second, move out walk through, I handed my key in after seven years, and yet still was charged for the key. I requested a walk through copy and was told they would mail it to my next address, which I provided on the paperwork for the walk through. It never came. I requested information on what they cleaned and why I was charged a cleaning fee no residence. Why was I charged for a drive by shooting that came through my bedroom window and I filled a police report on?None of these questions answered, because they don't respond to calls they just tell you "email any disputes, and then they don't respond to emails.

I lived at campus place, one of the properties they own, for almost 2 years. When I moved out they tried sneaking a $60 charge from my security deposit saying they had to dispose of a box spring. I don't even own a box spring. I called and said they would send me a reimbursement. 3 months go by and nothing. I called 5 separate times. 3 times they forgot about it. The 4th time they said they mailed it. That was a month ago. Now the post office lost it and they said either call the post office or PAY TO GET A NEW CHECK. I told the lady I'm not paying money to get the money that you guys stole from me. I cannot believe they tried this hard to steal a measly $60 from me.Be warned if you move out expect them to try to steal from you. Completely unprofessional and an extreme hassle and stress. Don't live in their properties if you can help it.

Beware! The people who work here are scammers. They received my mailed rent check and stamped it received on 4/20/21 but did not cash it. Assuming it had been lost in the mail, I had to scramble to cover the May rent again since I was out of town. Then they deposited the check on 6/10/21 after I had paid both May and June. The check they cashed had in the memo section "MAY RENT" on it and they told me they called and asked permission to cash it, which they absolutely never did. Then, they refused to refund the extra payment they hold. They held the check, caused the issue and then refused to remedy the situation. Dishonest, unprofessional, scam artist.

Some people there are helpful and on it. Some there are not so I ended up loosing my section 8 because of late paperwork, and they wouldn't revise the dates on the lease contract which stated I would be in the 1st, 15 days before I could even move in. Very illigal. Wasn't even able to see upfront and if wasn't happy and needed to say no well 900.00 a month till they rent it out!! Be careful out there.
