Home Depot is my favorite of the home improvement stores sorry to the blue guys . This one is very clean and well run, the employees are all available to help and want to, everyone has a smile. The prices are way better than my home town. Make sure you keep these guys in mind for your next project.

If you need any kind of assistance, or have any question of some sort regarding a product, there is literally no help or help offered even after asking. The young man stared at me, dumbfounded, like he had a no idea what I was asking! Went in last night to buy a Halloween decoration. I am an elderly lady, and it was virtually impossible for me to lift. This item by myself, asked him to put the item on a pushcart and help me get it to the register he brought the pushcart and walked away thank goodness for the other shopper there who was kind enough to lift the heavy box on the cart for me. Got to the registers that her self check out and the only one that takes cash was not working. Went to the courtesy desk to ask if I can pay there with cash. The lady rolled her eyes clearly hates her life, and her job and walked away. The item I was purchasing was $400. It's not like it was a little item. I walked out being completely frustrated! And ended up ordering the item online Home Depot needs to definitely teach their workers some skills in dealing with customers! I have never walked in the store, and wanted out so fast from the sheer rudeness of two employees!

Was there on Sunday afternoon. Couldn't find anyone to help open up the lawnmowers. Finally got help after a long wait,paid,then some karen manager demanded to see my receipt. Definitely not going back.

Prospective consumers: Consider every single option available before placing an order for a large item to be delivered.Home Depot currently contracts with NSD, a shipping company that is currently being investigated by the Better Business Bureau. The company will leave your order whether you are there or not, although this isn't what the order states will happen. Then, if the order is incorrect, you cannot, no matter what, speak to a human being, or get a response from NSD if you need to do a return. The Customer Service people at Home Depot are nice enough, but they are willfully ignorant about the sham shipping company. The local phone number is also directed to an 800 number, so you aren't speaking with the store when you call. Second bad experience. Fool me once....Please beware.

I don't know if it is just Chico or every Home Depot but if I could give this place negative stars I would..... how is it that the employees know less about the products they sell than I do? I never can find any help and on the rare occasion I find an employee that I can ask for help.... They never have any idea where anything is.Literally go anywhere but here.

Home Depot credit card. Other than get you signed up for a Home Depot credit cards BEWARE AND BE AWARE...once you have a card you cannot get any help in the store regarding their card. Nor was I able to reach a live person on any of the phone numbers on their statement. I recently made a purchase on October 4, 2022. At which time I applied and got a new Home Depot credit card. By about the 8 th of November I did not get a statement. I was at the store and ask about it they said sometimes there are glitches in the system.Some glitch....They charged me a late fee and interest before I even got the first statement! I tried to call both numbers on the statement but never could reach a live person. So again I went into the store only to learn that they have nothing to do with the card.I got the First Statement 11/15/2022 and now learn that on 11/04 they charged me a $29 late fee plus interest for a $33 purchase on 10/4. Then on 11/19, less that a week later I got the Second statement for 12/2022. I will of course cancel the card ASP!Edit:OK problem resolved I called the number and chose Something else and got a person. They were very helpful and removed the $29 fee right away. Thanks

My Poor grandmother bought an LG refrigerator for thousands of dollars. By the time it came up to temperature the freezer frosted it over. We have not been able to get any repair person out to fix it. Talked to Justin one of the managers here at Home Depot who let me know that they have a 48 hour return policy on their appliances. Yes that's right, it takes 24 hours for the refrigerator to get to temperature, at least 24 more hours to figure out if it works properly. And that's the cut off! Justin was like a bump on a log literally saying that he is hiding hiding behind the 48 hour policy. And asked me what I expected him to do about it. He did jack s**** So I blame Home Depot and I blame the human beings that run it! They also say they give military discounts and then put so many restrictions out there makes it nearly impossible or nonexistent. Lowe's does way better. And that was another thing, I said Lowe's doesn't have policies like that and he says well I don't know anything about Lowe's.! In my opinion, if you work at Home Depot you should know about Lowe's and if you work at Lowe's should know about Home Depot! Not all of their policies and procedures, obviously, but you should know your competition! I feel so helpless! They took thousands of dollars from my grandmother and now just sit around smiling in their store hiding behind a 48 hour b******* return policy ! Yes we tried to get it repaired but the repair person is in Redding, more than an hour away! And so far they keep canceling!! Thanks for nothing Justin! Thanks for nothing Home Depot!!

We purchased the shed kit, "Do-It-Yourself Princeton 10 ft. x 10 ft. Wood Storage Shed Building". We began with assembling the floor, then we began to get the lumber together to assemble the walls. Unfortunately, we discovered that 27 of the boards were twisted and bowed. We called Home Depot and they said to bring them in to get them replaced. When we went to customer service, the woman, Catherine, said to bring the boards in and then we could grab the exact same ones to swap. When we explained the kit's boards were cut to specific measurements, the woman told us that we would need to pay for each piece to be cut. We had to re-explain that the wood was pre-cut from the shed kit and the reason why we purchased a kit was to save time by not having to cut the wood ourselves or pay them for each cut. The woman then told us we had to bring the entire kit back. But we explained we already had it partially built. Reluctantly, Catherine then had some workers bring another kit out to swap out the individual pieces. Four workers opened another kit and watched us swap out the pieces. In the end, we're glad that they replaced all the boards. However, we would not recommend the product. We also didn't have the best experience with the customer service desk.

The absolute worst customer service. Ashley was beyond rude. I had a return with my Home Depot Credit card that was bought less then week ago. I had picture of my card and ID it told me I could not do without card. I asked to speak to mgr. She became very childish along with 4 other employees. When she thought I was recording and asked her name she finally got the mgr after 12 minutes. Mgr did it even though he acted like I was a inconvenience. I have spent thousands of dollars in the last few months with a new remodel home. I will not be continuing with home depot for my floors They lost a customer over a $100 item. could have even offered store credit, but since it was a fight I did return and walk out drove to lowes.

VERY BAD customer service!!! Went to buy multiple high dollar items, yet could not get any help. The gal working in the AC area, made 2 phone calls and a customer service request for me from the main desk. Never saw any other person to offer help (wish I got her name). Went to pay for the one item my Mom picked up and there was only one cashier with a line, forcing people to use the self check out. Well if you are going to self check out, then lower your prices, because you are saving thousands of dollars by not having to pay employees, or hey you can give us the money every time we have to ring up our selves. I WILL NOT BE BACK as this Home Depot is still the worst when it comes to customer service. 3 strikes, your out

Well I'm just going to lay it out straight and not hold back anything. I used to love the help I got everytime I needed it, the employees were there to help you when you needed it they were right there helping you out,But things have changed for the worse there. Now it's just the opposite getting anyone to help you out seems almost impossible to find help there, it's like they've cut the employee count in half or something, it's hard to get help and when you do get any help there they've got this attitude or a chip on there shoulders and they have an Attitude like it's a burden to ask any of them for any assistance at all! Then let's move on to the kitchen cabinet desk and getting help there. It's totally a joke getting help there, it takes forever running around till you find anyone to help you or get someone to call someone else to come help you. Then try ordering some kitchen cabinetry from there it's a total joke. First you don't get the help your looking to get, they want you to set an appointment up to get anything ordered. And it only gets worse from there. You get everything you wanted figured out and the employee says I've spent over an hour helping you out so I'm over the time limit so you'll have to come back to finish this order up. I'm thinking you've got to be joking wright? But no he's serious about it, so I return the next day and there's no one who can help me in that department so two days later I finally get helped again and get my order in and ordered. Well the employee says it usually takes about two weeks but since the Covid crap has happened it's taking a little longer so your looking around three weeks. That's doable so the three weeks come and go and they say any day it will be here, alrighty now it's been five weeks and I go in and talk with them and they tell me , I meant to call you and tell you that it's going to be four more weeks till your orders in. I'm blown away by that comment and say you've got to be kidding! Now that four weeks goes by and I'm back in looking to pick up my order and of course it's not in they tell me it should be here in a week at the most because it's in transit. So after another week they say I don't understand why it hasn't gotten here yet and he calls whomever and they say it's in Sacramento and it will be here on the next truckload, another week goes by and the employee tells me they didn't get any trucks in because they had inventory that week and he calls whomever again and he says oh it's in Tracy and will be here in two or three days we'll another week goes by and still nothing! (I'm mean come on Home Depot get you head out of the sand and get your shit together!) So they call whomever again and they tell me for sure it will be here by Monday! Well by now we've been waiting for our cabinet order to arrive for three months and a week! My order better be in tomorrow morning or Home Depot is going to lose not only my business but I'll make sure all my friends will be moving to Lowes from now on till Home Depot gets there shit together, this is unacceptable and come to find out one of my friends went to Lowes after going through the same crap and said forget this then ordered cabinets from Lowes and has already got them a week ago! I'm totally blown away, it seems impossible to me but it's 100% true! I'm a team player and The Home Depot was the place to go but I'm about at a point of switching teams! Home Depot please get your shit together or I'm going somewhere else from now on! Completely fed up!...

Do not order from HD. Made an order on 3/16. Delivery set for 3/21. As of 4/29 NO order. Made 3 calls to customer service with no results. Still have no idea when item will arrive. Store manager will not take my call or help resolve.
