“The store is so clean and well organzied! I didn't even come in looking for anything in particular but when I did find something, there was a whole section of that item and it had such a wonderful and organized display! The staff was very friendly as well. I came in and wandered around for awhile and then was approached asking if I needed help and he was so kind to point me in the right direction! They had all sorts of neat candies, Christmas-themed jewelry, and other cute little trinkets. It is a little on the pricey side but the items are high quality and worth it! Would reccomend :)”
“This is the best metaphysical/occult/witchy shop in Chico! The prices are reasonable. Their crystals are genuine and beautiful, both raw and tumbled. They have a collection of items from crystals, incense, books, statues, trinkets and more! The owners are very friendly. I love visiting and every item that I've bought is fantastic!”

“Huge toy store, old-timey & whimsical, with every little doodad & gadget that make little my GenX heart flutter in nostalgia, & also offering local touristy souvenirs &, perplexingly, a large selection of high-quality Hawaiian shirts‽ Very friendly staff. A joy to visit, for kids ages 1-99!
Bonus: the National Yo-Yo Museum sits unassumingly in the very back! Tiny altar to the humble yoyo, embedded & almost seemingly forgotten in the back of a huge old-timey toy store, Bird in Hand, with an impressive collection showing off the evolution of the toy—including the gigantic 256-lbs wooden monster that was twirled off a construction crane!
I especially appreciate the focus on the Filipino roots of the phenomenon & the name. Pinoy representation!”

“This store is SO CUTE. Imported snacks, condiments, tea, and bath and body goods from Britain. I assume the jewelry and the houseware sold here are too, but I didn't ask. The lady who runs this store is sweet and will answer any questions you have. Great place to buy gifts :)”
“Sierra Nevada Stout was the first craft brew I ever tasted back in the 90s. It was so delicious I ordered another one that day. I've been drinking Sierra Nevada's stouts, porters, and IPAs ever since.
