“This is the best metaphysical/occult/witchy shop in Chico! The prices are reasonable. Their crystals are genuine and beautiful, both raw and tumbled. They have a collection of items from crystals, incense, books, statues, trinkets and more! The owners are very friendly. I love visiting and every item that I've bought is fantastic!”

I always come here for upcoming birthdays and other events and I am never let down. There is always a balance of new items from new artists and a solid collection of Chico staples. Not only are the items local and quality, but you can ask for your purchase to be gift wrapped free of charge. Next time you have anything to buy for an event, or even a gift for yourself, consider taking the time to go downtown and SHOP LOCAL. This store is amazing and deserves support.”

“Huge toy store, old-timey & whimsical, with every little doodad & gadget that make little my GenX heart flutter in nostalgia, & also offering local touristy souvenirs &, perplexingly, a large selection of high-quality Hawaiian shirts‽ Very friendly staff. A joy to visit, for kids ages 1-99!
Bonus: the National Yo-Yo Museum sits unassumingly in the very back! Tiny altar to the humble yoyo, embedded & almost seemingly forgotten in the back of a huge old-timey toy store, Bird in Hand, with an impressive collection showing off the evolution of the toy—including the gigantic 256-lbs wooden monster that was twirled off a construction crane!
I especially appreciate the focus on the Filipino roots of the phenomenon & the name. Pinoy representation!”
“Sierra Nevada Stout was the first craft brew I ever tasted back in the 90s. It was so delicious I ordered another one that day.
