Absolutely disgusting, cockroaches covering the floor and bedbugs everywhere. The location is awful, there were police activity when we drove up.
The front lady was nice she refunded me immediately, but this place was seriously awful and disgusting.

Upon arriving. Chico police was already leaving. Then we checked in, got the room, and I swear you not, not even 1 full minute into our room we saw cockroachs, bedbugs and trash all throughout the room. Probably the worst experience of anyplace I've visited in my life. I never write reviews but just because how bad this place is, Im writing one now to warn anyone trying to find a room for cheap, DON'T. Pay the extra money to to any of the quality hotels.
The lady upfront was respectful, and I don't mean shade towards her but don't go here. Save your time and money.

Horrible. They will find every reason under the sun to scam you out of your money. Rooms are filthy (I've been in mostly all of them) .all are infested with roaches and bedbugs . And they treat everyone who is a guest here like they are a bother or something. Save your money ,your health, and your family from the absolute WORST experience of your life . They will lie to your face about not having rooms available and then they will rent out that same room not even an hour later . They have family that stays here for free . They will just stare at you nonstop . You, your kids they don't care . They're in your business but you better not be in theirs. I've seen drug deals go down here . Domestic violence and more . Please for the love of God . DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYMORE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! it's truly disgusting that this place is even allowed to operate in such a horrible condition. Most if not all of these rooms are not suitable for any human to be in .

Not so great. They have an ice machine which will produce 2 ice cubes per hour...but if you want those ice cubes be prepared with your own receptacle because your room has no ice bucket. And bring your own hand soap! Oh and dont expect to find one of those little but wonderful coffee makers in ur room either.
Oh and there will be no bagels and cream cheese compliments of the house or otherwise! I would not recomend this motel. Anyplace else would be better--ANYPLACE ELSE.

Protect your peace and DONT STAY HERE😭 I came to chico for a weekend trip to visit my friends and it turned into a day trip because I refused to sleep in this dirty bug infested cigarette smelling tweaker room. There were roaches and bed bugs and demonic writing. We tried returning our key at 1am and no one was there so we dropped it off and left. I tried getting a refund and they lied to the third party saying I left at 10am but wont provide proof. The lady called me a liar and hung up on me after I told her I have proof and now my calls wont go through. They’re definitely going out of business soon especially if they need $70 that bad.

Cockroaches, floor isn't level, tv worked but not really, and the people working in the next room were so loud I couldn't sleep till after 11 p.
The floor was really dirty, the tub drain did not work, and the toilet did not flush very well. I told front desk about the roaches and he asked if I wanted him to come clean it. I offered to give them of something that would get rid of them quickly and he did not sound interested.

The most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t bring pets or children not even yourself. I payed for 2 nights walked into my room and walked out I didn’t stay for 10 minutes before I began my long drive home just to be back for work in the morning. They didn’t offer me no refund and I gave them free money just to walk right out. Don’t go here

Ok first let’s clarify I work away a lot so I have stayed in some pretty Teriable places but this one is next level I understand that it’s cheap but every room (becuase I had them switch me) smelt like a leafy green like not a little but gives you a instant migraine and don’t get me started on the bed burn holes all over and I kid you not a male bodily fluid smeared all over the sheets bad boards don’t appear to be cleaned in years and sweeping they haven’t even heard of it don’t spend your money here this shouldn’t even be legal I would rather sleep in my work truck at least that doesn’t have cockroaches

Haven Inn of Chico had a nice room that seemed to have been renovated somewhat recently. The bed spread was new. The selection of cable channels was good.

People really get on here and complain about a 54 dollar room? If you want higher quality, pay for it. But if you need a cheap, fairly clean room to get through the night or week, hit these guys up. My parents met here 45 years ago, and it hasn't changed a bit, lol. A step back in time, even down to the price. You'll pay more for dinner a block away than for this room. Close to a couple of restaurants, a few bars, the race track/ fairgrounds. And it's cheap. You get exactly what you pay for, and for the price here, that rings true. Clean enough room, water pressure, a/c, and a toilet. Deal. The price is literally a third of a price for a better room. So don't expect to get a Mercedes when you pay for an 89 Accord. But the accord will still get you there. Ya know.
