The absolute worst place you can rent a car from. Phone lines never work, emails never go through, customer service is non existent in this location AND the 1-800 number. No explanation of where my refund is on top of more charges to my account that “unfortunately” I have to now talk to my bank about because it’s not a hertz issue even though they were the ones that charged me TWICE. Fanfuckingtastic. Save yourself the hassle and go to enterprise or even uhaul. At least I can walk in there and see an employee rather than an empty desk with a note saying to call a number that doesn’t even work. Wonderful!! -100/10 wouldn’t recommend.

No human to help with questions at all. Everything is automated and then it hangs up on you. Won’t be renting from here again.

Beware customers. Hertz Rent a Car Airpark Chico will rob you blind. I needed a car rental for 30 days. The female helping me behind the counter asked me if I wanted the "optional insurance coverage" which covered any damage to the vehicle. When I asked her how much her reply was simply $25. I voiced out loud how cheap that was but she did not at that time make it clear that it was $25 a day, which would have been the professional thing to do. Needless to say I was duped and bought the insurance and upon return on the vehicle I was informed I owed them $750. The employee assured me she had mentioned it was $25 a day However, if she had mentioned it I would have given it a second thought, (as most people would) and I know I would have not bought the insurance as it was optional. I feel this is clearly predatory, money hungry, deceitful business practice and the public needs to be made aware. Be smarter than I was, stay clear of Hertz, Rent A Car Airpark. They are not professionals.

I rented a car from Chico car rental hertz and I am as happy as a little pig in a slop pen. Christine and Manny rock, so nice and personable.Christine you gave me the best car, no smoking such a plus as one of my grandkids is allergic to smoke.I recommend this particular car rental for all your needs. Hope my car breaks down again. ; )

Amazingly courteous staff, got a free upgrade from a truck to a hybrid when the lady heard I was going long distance. Highly recommend!

Me and my wife reserved a car two weeks in advance for a birthday trip for my daughter to six flags. When we tried to get are reservations at this Hertz the woman at the front desk couldn't find are reservation number and was extremely rude and wouldn't help but would say she has nothing in her computer. I would avoid this place if you want to save money and have a car waiting for you I'm at Enterprise ten minutes later we are getting are car thankfully and saving my little girl a heart breaking of me telling her we wouldn't be able to take her and her friends to six flags for the weekend!

If I could leave them no stars I would, no one will answer there phones about my rental... wish I would have read the reviews b4 booking please go with enterprise they never fail. Went with Hertz this time only cuz my husband was like its cheap... yea cheap in service too. Save urself the stress go with enterprise!

I rented a car through priceline with this company, in advance, I needed a large SUV to fit my family. 2 hours before pickup the company called me to say they don't have the vehicle I need. If you are depending on a certain size don't put your hope in this company as they will call you 2 hours before your trip to tell you they don't have what you need.

3hrs into our 7hr car trip the maintenance oil light went on. When I called the 1-800 # and connected to the ongoing rental issues dept, I was given two options. Take the car in to get an oil change or take the car to the nearest Hertz for a trade in. After fully unpacking the vehicle I took the car to the Hertz the agent directed me to. It was there that I was told they could not help me as their Hertz is privately owned and I was turned away with the option of driving another 40 minutes to a different Hertz. Already loosing a day to this mess I attempted to call the Chico Hertz. No direct option to talk to a person during this time. I had to pretend to be an insurance company to connect to a live person. The agent at the private Hertz confirmed there was an issue with the automated phone system. The response I got from Chico Hertz was “I wish you would have called me. Just drive the car.” There was an offer to possibly reimburse for my inconvenience but I had to call another 1-800 #. After calling this number 2x and again after the rental was completed I was told there was no report of the issue filed so they would have to contact the local Hertz. Customer service is sub par.
