They were recommended by Safeco as the preferred repair shop...and Wow. Great communicators! Ashlee and Christina are great...keeping me informed with the progress of my car's repair. Having in-house connections with the insurance company is an asset when prompt review is necessary.
Christina makes the estimating visit thorough and complete. Getting my car back like new is what they provide!

First time writing a review.took My 2016 ram cummins had a rear driver door damage from another vehicle (accidents happen). Gerber collision kept me updated every step of the way with expenses and costs. Not only did i feel welcomed when i walked into their facility they quickly got me in and out with a rental car with a breeze. A++++++ service dont go anywhere else.again thank you guys for professional work on my truck made it look brand new like nothing happened and thank you for doing a detail afterwards!!! 👍

Very good work, keeps you informed on what is going on with vehicle if any changes occur as well. If going through insurance they also keep you well informed of what stage they are in. The repair and paint came out great and employees there are very friendly. Highly recommend. They also were able to get it done sooner than insurance had said. All around quality work.

Amazing customer service, the office kept me informed of my vehicle and returned it looking better than it did prior to the accident. Costumer service is good. Mechanical tech workers does not know what they were doing! Mess up some electrical problem on my car and said it wasn't them that did it when I clearly took my car to them to fix it 😒 they even called Toyota car shop company and told them they've never seen anything like this before 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They are dishonest and do shoddy work. While the Chico location appears to be a small locally owned business it is not. It is part of a large national chain and I recommend that you visit the Better Business Bureau and read reviews on how poorly this company treats it's customers.
This is my experience with the Chico location.
6 months ago i asked them to do insurance repair on my 2010 Toyota Tundra. This included body work and replacement of a Snugtop camper shell. Gerber collision billed my insurance company $5000 dollars for the camper shell. They said it was back ordered and to expect it in July. The camper shell was never ordered... Chico Gerber Collision pocketed the money instead.
This resulted in complaints to the California Dept of Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau and now online reviews.
The work done by this business is poor and they lack integrity. They do not return calls and when you finally talk to a Gerber rep they are evasive and do not follow through.

What a fabulous job repairing my passenger side doors. My car looks like new and it just came off the showroom floor! Manager Shane and the repair crew are very courteous and keep you informed on the repair progress. My experience was great and I highly recommend them if you need any body repair work.

I would recommend this company to everyone I know. EXCELLENT customer service. owner Shane called me every Monday to let me know status of car. they detailed outside and cleaned inside. they replaced my back bumper and it looked beautiful. They also gave me life time warranty on bumper and painT.
