Super store for all children's clothing, gifts, fun items. Just looooved the selection! Super cute items, quality brands, good prices! The young woman working was so pleasant and professional and helpful! The only comment....I purchased an item as a gift.....super cute item....at time of sale I was surprised that the item is wrapped in tissue and then placed in an ugly blue colored PLASTIC bag! I know it may seem trivial.....but a simple white PAPER handle bag with the logo on it would have been so much nicer!! I detest plastic bags...and I want it to be special when I give the gift....I will place it in another PAPER bag and tell my friend all about the shop...

Very very cute items in this store. But the customer service of an employee needs work. Move out of the way so we can shop. You standing in front of merchandise makes that not possible. Also, don't ease drop in my convo only to provide wrong Information even after I just explained who I was shopping for..and again giving me wrong info. And I concure on a post from a few months ago, this associate made me feel like I was already being staked out as a theif. Just not the vibe you want going into such a cute store. Maybe give that employee a new position.

I had a terrible experience at this store. If you "look right" to the owner, I 'm sure it's great, but if you don't, you're not welcome. I am autistic and I believe my affect likely lead to the owner making assumptions about me. It felt really crappy to be obviously treated differently than other people in the store. I would not support a business that so blatantly discriminates. Anyway, here's what happened. I am a local performer and was looking for a costume for a new act. My friend suggested I check out this shop, so we went together. While my friend was chatting with the owner, I found some cute items that I thought might work. My friend found something that they tried on and decided to buy. After I found some things, I walked towards the front to ask about using the dressing room. The owner walked in a direction that looked like she was planning on blocking my path to the dressing room area, which made me uncomfortable. I always plan on asking before using a dressing room in a new store anyway, but it seemed that she felt the need to prevent me from sneaking in or something. As soon as I was close enough to comfortably speak without needing to raise my voice, I asked about using the dressing room. The owner responded "No," and not even in an apologetic or understanding way. Then she directed me to a large mirror in the front of the store. Some of the items I was considering were priced over $50, so I wouldn't purchase them without being sure of the fit. The owner did not at all seem to care about my business in the store. She made no attempt at helping me determine if the items I had would be the right size for me. It was very odd and uncomfortable. I completely understand that some businesses may not be able to accommodate a fitting room and maybe she's worried about people stealing clothes being downtown, however, I was clearly treated differently than how my friend was treated, which made me feel unwelcome. If there's a no try-on policy, it's really off-putting to see one "special" person or person who looks right get to try on clothes while I was not allowed to because I suppose I look more "suspicious"? I have no idea what assumptions she made about me, but I fully intended on treating all the clothes carefully and probably spending over $100 for the right costume. Anyway, I would never go back to this store again. Not to mention that I went down the street to Moon Zoom, which was cheaper, had just as nice of costume options, had fitting rooms, and they were friendly (as always) and made me feel welcome (and even wanted) in their store. I hope the owner of Kat's Meow reconsiders how they treat potential customers and evaluates their implicit biases (or maybe it's not even implicit).

Only giving 2 stars. This store has super cute things but I don’t appreciate people thinking I’m going to steal. Don’t ask me “Do you want me to hold that for you?” because that is you telling me that you think I’m going to steal from you. There were other people in the store who weren’t brown like me and they weren’t asked the same question. My friend used to work in retail, I know what that comment means. Won’t be going back.

Love this shop! Went in for the first time today and the owner was so nice and helpful. I was looking for an amber necklace to help my son who is teething and she fitted him to one and recommended a few other products without being at all pushy. So many adorable items in the store! Ended up leaving with a cute teething stuffy as well but would highly recommend this store if you are looking for a super sweet, well-made, baby shower gift or kiddo birthday present.

WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I reached out to this store via instagram messenger while on the hunt for some VERY exclusive Posh Peanut holiday pjs for my entire family. They were very quick with a response about what they had and didn’t have in stock . I then called the store to place an order for the itemthey had that I needed. About 30 mins later I realized I needed to grab something else so again I messaged on Instagram and got a prompt response letting me know they had the item I was in search of so I called the store again and asked the owner, Jill if she could just add this item to my previous order. Jill assured members that it would be taken care of. Fast forward a few days later I started receiving my orders from various stores I had placed orders. There was quite a few since I was ordering for my entire family and each store only had one or so items that I needed. I would open packages as they came in and throw them into one shopping bag. After receiving all the orders I noticed that I was missing the second item that I had asked Jill to add to my order . I called and let her know about my situation and to ask if it was shipped separate or maybe was missed. She remembered me and assured me that she remembered unpacking and repacking my order. She seemed so sure of herself and totally had me second guessing myself which I knew was a possibility since I had gotten so many things . What I really appreciated was how kind she was about the whole thing. She didn’t make me feel bad about calling or get defensive she actually made me feel very reassured that I probably had it here at my house but she still offered to take care of me if for some reason I couldn’t find it. I told her I would take another look around as I didn’t feel like I had looked well enough to accept Kat’s meow generous offer to correct things. Well the next day I ended up finding the item in a drawer next to the shopping bag I was storing everything in which was such a relief because I couldn’t have all my family and nephews matching for Xmas except one person. I called Jill immediately to let her know that it was my mistake and thank her for helping me figure things out. Kat’s meow has Made a lifetime customer out of me and I will definitely suggest them to all my mom friends . Thank you so much
