The interior spaciousness of the floor and the exterior scenery are what sell this place really well. The positives go without saying but here some legitimate cons:- Outside patio lighting is minimal.- The staff are a bit challenging to work with, not rude, just hard to coordinate with.- The speakers are good for those on the floor and no where else in the building so plan seating accordingly.- If you're having a wedding, the "getting ready" are nothing fancy, one mirror in each and shared spaces for storage.- Geese will poop on the sidewalk; guaranteed.

Best experience I could have asked for. The venue was perfect for our wedding. Very open and accommodating to large groups. Taylor answered all my questions with no hesitation and quickly. The workers there were helpful, polite and very nice. We highly recommend this for your wedding

Doing the Lord's work and posting about my wedding reception I had here in 2021. Ceremony was at Chico Creek Nature Center and reception was here, 1 minute down the road at Lakeside Pavilion (both owned by CARD). I cannot recommend this location enough. The staff was so lovely, supportive, and answered any and all of my questions. The price is absolutely unbeatable in comparison to other venues in Chico and surrounding areas. There are endless photography locations on site. To any future bride/groom, you will not regret booking this location. 100/10 S/O to Ginger Eliza Photography!

Went to this for a princess Ball with my daughter. The place was clean, had a nice view of the lake, and the staff was very friendly.If you are going to an event that they provide food to you, make sure you snack on something before you go. They admitted they made a mistake as they aren't a catering service, so they ran out of pasta (main course) for me and my daughter and about 20 or so people. They gave us codes to get either an event or food comped (haven't checked it out yet). Overall a great experience though.
