Was looking for embroidery thread, and found a good selection of flosses. The store usually has what you need, if a little confusingly organized at times. Wanted wax sealing items, and they do not carry a good selection. Have been wanting to teach a class here, but this has been stopped due to pandemmy. Very fun to go and touch all the preserved moss in the back left corner of the store

I enjoy going to Michaels just like I enjoy the time I spend painting. Michaels might be a big chain when it comes to hobby stores. The Walmart of the hobby world I guess. And like Walmart they have these amazing deals and a rewards program that is clearance central. Also the employees have always been helpful and nice to deal with. The store on the other is clearance chose. Deals every where and not in the spot the item actually is. Almost overwhelming to the shop. Also their products that seem to be the life blood of the store seems cheap. Don't get me wrong the have the process items but not in the quantities and discounted price of what a major hobby shop should have. And I feel like in the kids science section which is awesome for my son the seem to lack the higher quality experiments that aren't disposable. Anyways. Not bad.

Shawna in the framing dept. Is an absolute angel! I was so lucky that she was working when i came in. I needed something and couldnt find it in any store, or theres.... She gave me what i needed and i owe her! So here you go shawna, your the best love! ?

I never leave without something. Michaels has lots of awesome craft stuff, I wish there was more fiber available at my local store, but understand they're limited on space. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Excited to see classes happening again.

The store has your basic supplies for crafting, minus a few items not stocked. Great customer service but I would've like to have seen more holiday themed supplies.

Michael's was my favorite crafty store for almost the last 20 years! They've changed a bit over the years, and recently their product selection has seemed to drop to levels that are disheartening, while their prices have stayed steady(and in some cases risen), which is why I was only able to give them 4 stars. They do have great, friendly employees (but not always the most knowledgeable about the store or it's products, which can render them useless on occasion), and they price match, which is absolutely WONDERFUL! Still HIGHLY recommend Michael's to all!

They had the paint I was looking for and Deco snow. I was very pleased. But on their shopping carts they have a broken plastic piece over the handle which I got pinched twice and my nephew got pinched as well. They should fix that.
