Nsfitness is now Lions Den. The new owners have done a great job with the renovations and badly needed updates. They have some new equipment and have made aesthetic improvements. They have created a room geared towards *leg day* and I think it's a good little circuit. Thanks for the upgrades and updates Lions Den.

New owners and in a renovation so place did look like a construction zone. Wouldn't honor the old NSfit punch cards so that was disappointing. Ended up leaving.

Actively lies about how much the membership will cost and will let you tour under the impression you'll get to try it out before buying, having a sign even saying so out front, but then - $20 for a day pass. Oh, but then it's $10 if you're not quick to being robbed. Yeah, scummy behavior deserves a review, enjoy. Thanks for wasting my time!

I’ve only been twice since I just enrolled. What can I say? Qr code makes it easy to sign in and access all of the amenities. I especially enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and upstairs cardio machines. Great space and layout. I think you can bring a friend on Fridays, I’ll look into it. Thanks.

The phone number for the Chico club wasn't working and I noticed the Chico club is no longer on the NSFit website. I contacted another location and they told me that the club was sold at the beginning of the month but they had no contact info for the new owners. I don't know what this means for the fate of the facility. This club is in need of some decent maintenance for sure. I hope the new owners will invest some serious capital in the declining state of things: removing carpet in the locker rooms (gross) and everywhere else, the obvious water damage throughout the building, putting in proper flooring in the group workout spaces instead of cheap laminate plank, and generally bringing it out of the 90s. The potential is definitely there. I will say that the equipment, especially the weight room is the best part of this place for the price compared to other gyms in Chico. I hope the new owners decide to bolt down the power racks and other heavy machines and equipment though.

Overall value is great. I have been a member of NS Fit for 15+ years — way before it was owned by NS Fit. NSF has definitely been an upgrade over the last owners. It’s great to have a gym with racquetball courts. My biggest complaint is that things don’t get fixed very quickly after they break down/ stop working e.g. the hot tub and workout machines mostly. They seem to be doing a better job in the last couple months so if they keep it up I will upgrade my rating next time around.

I'm mainly a member here because of rehab. From heart . I use the jacuzzi, sauna and lap pool. Nice people and easy access .Ask them for a free 7 day pass to give it a try.

I've been wanting to leave a review 'shout out' for quite some time - no better time than now!Jordan is our trainer/fitness instructor for Silver Sneakers (aka several other Senior fitness programs too) at NSFitness/Chico CA.He deserves a 10 rating!! He is an excellent teacher / is a good fit in working with all ages including our 'young at heart' class participants!It's easy to follow his lead - speaks clearly/directly - is lighthearted - cares - and leads in a way 'you know you've had a good workout!'Personal opinion: Jordan is a Keeper!He will go far in the wellness/fitness industry!Thank you!PW

I have been a member of NS since 2018. I play racquetball and they have the only courts left in the area. The staff is always friendly.

Very friendly environment. Everyone is respectful . As an older person this is important to me. My trainer Jorden is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am learning a lot. The gym is kept clean and the staff wipe down the equipment frequently. Nice place to work out.

Love the vibe and exclusivity of this establishment. Not crowded with human humidity steaming up the place. Its literally cool!? Great gym, they have everything I need to get a great workout. There's enough room there to where it doesn't feel over crowded. After graduating from Chico state and going to the wrec every day, this gym meets all the high standards the wrec presented to me.
