Leslie was really weird and rude on the phone. She acted like I was highly inconveniencing her by asking insurance/prescription transfer questions. She kept talking over me and saying that she was busy and had other things to do, instead of just asking me to call later or putting me on hold after picking up the phone. I’ve never really had an experience like this at a pharmacy before, it was very weird behavior from a grown woman.

After using Raley’s pharmacy on East Ave for 15 years, I’ve finally had enough and transferred my family’s prescriptions elsewhere. They used to be great, but after the pandemic in 2020 staffing must have become an issue because the people who work the counter are not only not helpful, they can be downright rude. It’s now happened so many times over the last few years that I’m no longer going to give them my money for such poor service. Most recently, while filling a $500 prescription for which I had a significant discount card, they told me “the discount card isn’t working, that will be $500 please”. Um, no. It finally did work, but only after 3 trips to the pharmacy and me asking them to call the number provided by the medication manufacturer. They took no responsibility for the error. They used to actually help me when situations like this arose. Now they couldn’t care less and send you away or tell you to pay full price. They used to have people that knew what they were doing or would help you figure it out, but no longer. Years ago pharmacist Tom knew our names and was so helpful. There was a young man who worked the counter who knew what he was doing and would follow up and call us back if there were issues. Now you’re going to get a curt explanation at the counter and no help or concern whatsoever. Unfortunately, I think this is how people behave now. Amazon pharmacy had no trouble with the discount card and I don't have to argue with people or be treated disrespectfully.

All the STAFF at the PHARMACY in RALEYS on EAST AVE IN CHICO CALIFORNIA are some of THE VERY BEST that I have ever been fortunate enough to be associated with , I would highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance for their pharmaceutical supplies !!! Sincerely , Keith Olsen

So for the past few years I've come to Raleys at 6am to get balloons for my wife and sons birthdays (all in October) some times in the pouring down rain, but I still do. Why? Because I enjoy seeing the look on their faces when they wake up to balloons and all the other stuff I get them (I guess it's all the things I lacked as a child lol) anyhow the reason I write this, is, because this year I came in here at 6am as always and they had to get the book keeper (a young lady, i didnt get her name) to come out and help me because no one else in the store knew how to operate this area. But I noticed when she came out she seemed to be very disturbed (on the annoyed side that she got asked to do this task) and I didn't mean to bring this on her nor did I call her, so anyhow I've never experienced this kind of feed back from any of the employees here nor did I like the way this felt, so I decided to try and avoid this situation and get my second son's birthday balloons the night before, what a mistake it was, because now I sit here at 6:37am and write this review. All because of one bad apple (the book keeper) I now have to present my 7yr old son with deflated balloons so if the book keeper ever reads this, just know your sour attitude definitely causes a domino affect and because of your sour approach a few weeks ago, it's affect is still damaging today. Foot note: the book keeper should take some training from the young lady named Emily that helped me last night, she had a very positive attitude, seemed to be a hard worker and probably has a bright future. Yeah my balloons didn't make it through the night, but it's people like her that will bring me back.

Horrible service. My prescriptions were sent in at 8am and I went to pick it up at 6pm. Was told they were behind and my prescriptions were not ready until the next day. She confirmed my phone number and said I will received a call the next day when my prescriptions are ready. Never received a call. I called back the next day around 6pm again and was told they cannot fill my prescriptions and the meds are available over the counter. I’m will not even be upset if I was told the first time to save my time. I would of appreciated a phone call as they promised. This is the second time I’ve had bad experience and communication with this pharmacy. Thankful for the guy who explained and apologized today tho.

Are you hankering for a sandwich? Where do you go to take care of that overwhelming need? Togo's? Subway? There are many sandwich shops here in Chico and some of them are amazing and mouthwatering, Let's be honest. BUT, when it comes down to it, it is not the experience you will experience here. Where you ask?????? First off, A sandwich maker is an art that is Wayyyyyyyy underrated. It's an art that, to make a sandwich such as the sandwich that Jessica will craft for you, is created with ALL heart and a large sprinkle of Love. I can make a sandwich any day of the week, but they will Never come out like hers. EVER. Ask yourself this. Would you prefer to receive a professional massage or haircut with a scalp rub at the end, or, would you get better results by doing it yourself? Lets cut to the chase. It's Gigantic. It's around $12 and it can go for 3 days. Just ask her if she can cut it into 3 parts. AMAZING. AMAZING, is Jessica AND her skills. It's a must have. My go to: Large Turkey Sandwich on a French Bread roll with Mayo, Mustard, horseradish. Leaf lettuce, all veges on it, Xtra onion and jalapeño. Go to Raleys on East Ave and ask for Jessica. Tell her, Josh sent you. I've obviously become a regular.
