Definiteley one of the best hotel experiences I had.
We reserved our room at last minute, it was very late and the owner was kind enough to wait for me and my family to get there and pay. Room was perfect, bed was comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed, breakfast is included, decent and can’t really complain, we all enjoyed it because they had pancakes!! ?
We were a little late for breakfast and they made no big deal about it.
Really lovely family owned hotel!!
Safety: Very quiet, a lot of ilumination and no creeps around at all. Easy to get in and out.

If you try to contact this place before 3 pm good luck! There is no answer even though from what I saw there is some one living on site and that some one checked me in so ...however, that being said the rooms are smallish even with queen size bed and bathtub....but the bed was neat and very clean with 4 pillows and crisp white sheets...crisp and clean! The room itself actually smelled clean and the bathroom was decent--there were no water marks etc. and the faucets were shining etc. It was clean...maybe a little outdated but clean. It was nice having a little refrigerator and a clean microwave etc. also there was an exceptionally large flat screen TV and ofcourse free wifi..The location of this little motel is unfortunate and the graffiti on the outside walls is very unappealing. It would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Check in is 3 p.m. but check out is 11!! Not even 24 hours! That's a bit much I'd say...I like to check in way before 3 pm!

Clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. Warm welcoming reception, and immaculate grounds. Would definitely return on our next work assignment in Chico.

I stayed in this hotel several years ago, before the pandemic. During that time I was attending the California State University, however I had not solved my living arrangements in the city of Chico. So I was "homeless" for the first semester as a student until my apartment was ready. And while I was waiting for my apartment I lived here for several weeks. I can say that my stay was satisfactory. I liked staying there. Really cozy rooms. Nice and clean, not a single bug anywhere. Really affordable too. Free wifi is provided, so I could turn in my homework assignments for my classes. Very friendly, helpful, and reasonable management. Kudos to the manager for having a green thumb!

I love that they have the one room that has the hot tub inside of the room. It's a nice size hot tub it's not like a bathtub with jets or anything it's an actual like hot tub that fits probably two people in it with jets . And I love the pancakes that they have in the mornings for breakfast they are so yummy. Plus the people that work there are also nice.

Check your pillows !! I usually stay in small hotels to bring revenue to small businesses. But today I felt so violated to someone negligence to clean up a place up. As a choice member this type of stuff shouldn’t happen . If your staff clean and change pillow cases how bugs and someone’s lashes was left behind and not clean . Do better ! Be better!

Rodeway Inn:The room was full of mosquitos when I entered the room. I tried to kill them, but there were so many and some were hiding. I was bitten all over by the mosquitoes. When I lifted the sheets to lay down, there was the body of a dead pincher bug in it.Top sheet had burn holes on it and the walls had specks of food over it.Bathroom was clean, but you could tell they did not clean the floor. There was hair and dust on the bathroom floor.The plugs next to the bed didn’t work. They were loose or would pop out the plug.Room was spacious, had cable, running water, and sufficient table space.I would not come here again.Rooms: Dirty, musty, dead insects, mosquitoes

The owners not only have one of the best motels In town but for the price it's perfect and they serve pancakes from a machine ppl!! They are always kind respectful and have never outwardly judged me or made me feel like I didn't belong There like the other ones downtown. If you are a good renter then you should have no problems. I appreciate and support business like this and I wish them the most success out of all the hotels and motels in this area. Treating people with dignity and respect goes much further then an overpriced dump or overpriced hotel. I personally want to extend a thank you for being a great place to rest my head and a place that makes me feel welcome you should teach these other dumps they call lodgings a lesson on how to treat the people who give you a living. It's non existent elsewhere in Chico.Noteworthy details: Pancake machine is the business!!

I made a reservation for September 28 check-in with a September 29 check-out. I booked it through Expedia. They didn't have any record of my reservation. When I opened up the reservation it was for October 12th and 13th.They said they could cancel that reservation and give me an available room. However, it would be at the full price not the Expedia price. I requested that they just cancel it all together. Which they refused to do since I wasn't going to rebook at the higher price.I left to go online to Expedia to cancel the reservation for Oct 12-13. I then searched for another hotel. I found one back in Orland where I needed to be anyway. I was traveling to Orland to empty a storage unit I had been renting for nine years. It took that long to recover from a loss of a rental and the inability to rent a place large enough to get my things from storage. So, a lot of emotional upheaval going on. I could do without any drama. I just needed to get a room to rest after a five and a half hour drive.I personally feel the hotel could have met me halfway with this. It was clear I drove a long way, had a reservation, albeit - the wrong one! A little compassion instead of greed could have gone a long way to save this situation from being a horrible customer service experience.

This motel is unsafe. Drug activity, and “women of the night” hanging out in the parking lot. A man was outside our door, did not feel safe going to my car. Walls are paper thin. Towels smelled like mold. Poor ventilation, everything was damp. I had to leave after an hour because I did not feel safe sleeping here, and was unable to get a refund.

Because of work I tend to travel quite a bit and stay in hotels. I have stayed in plenty of hotels and this one is by far my favorite. Yes it is small compared to most but the customer service is amazing. Very polite, friendly, and most importantly quiet which means I can get a full nights rest. I highly recommend it.
