You pay for what you get. Two people slept the queen bed. Only spent one night there. Friendly and rapid service. Smelled heavily of chlorine, so that was somewhat reassuring. No blinds on the bathroom windows, but pillow cases held up by tacks. Stains on the outer blanket/sheet but the inner bleached white ones were clean. Hard bed and flat pillows. Checked for bed bugs this morning and was all clear no issues. Heater worked fabulously though!Rooms: Smelled heavily of chlorine, so that was somewhat reassuring. This really should be a negative 5 star but that is not an option. We got to our room a little after 10pm only to find dead bugs on the bed and in the corners of the room, other people's hair on the pillows and sheets and the room just has a weird stench to it. Definitely would not recommend staying here. Only reason we booked a stay is because we are not familiar with the area and the double tree was booked.

Great affordable location for the area. Rooms were ok, didn't see bugs?

It said one price on the internet and it's another when you get there. Soon as I got to my room a guy pulled up into a truck (very fast) jump out and took off running to a room the cops grab him up and took him to jail...after that it was quite the rest of the night. The bed sucked old old mattress won't stay there again ?Rooms: Beds you can feel every coil in them very uncomfortable ☹️

Very rude when you try to use an online booking site to stay over rather than to pay the desk cuz it's cheaper online. It shouldn't matter if you want to book online to stay over, but they said I would have to check out and then back in later that day rather than just stay in the room, which I could do if I paid them a higher price.

Kind service and great clean pool. The location is nice, several different food options within walking distance. The rooms are uncomfortable and we had to change rooms several times due to different issues. One room had dirty sheets and the other only had scalding water.Rooms: Poor quality.

This place says no smoking and the whole room smelled like cigarettes. There was probably 10 flies in the room. Nasty stuff on the walls. had just paid for the room and asked for a refund and they refused to give. Worst hotel, do not recommend.

Room: upon entering, the room has an extremely fabuloso/chemical smell. All items in the room were smothered with cleaning chemical. You can tell upon contacting the Surfaces of the table, floors, nightstand, dresser and many more. Found a small spider on the toilet paper. The room doesn’t seemed to occupied for a while. The doors malfunctioned a few times. The door does not seemed secure. The window has a piece of wood for protection from I would assume breakage. Does not make me feel safe at all. Weird dark frame/window in the bathroom as well as unclean tissue area.Fridge: unstable fridge, yet microwave were placed on top of fridge. Dangerous and environmental hazard.Curtains: needs deep clean. Curtains has harsh black stain all over it.The beds were comfortable enough to sleep on. Possible bugs, got bitten all over legs and side shoulder. Developed rash with red spotting along back knee and thigh (exposed area when sleeping).Air vent: extremely loud and is located right next to the bed. You will need earplugs to have a good night sleep.Overall, place needs upgrade and deep cleaning of rooms as well as outside. Trash and dirt everywhere. There is no security patrolling/lookout during night time for an open hotel. You will get what you pay for. I do not recommend this hotel unless you’re there for one night sleep (maybe doable if you’re not a sensitive person).Nearby activities: Close to shopping center.

If i could give it 0 stars I would, I have to say that the Safari Inn was a total disappointment. The pictures on their website were a complete lie. The actual room was a dump. Instead of nice new walls and tiled floors, we were greeted with the dingiest, smelliest carpet and shoddy walls with holes in the ceiling and curtains. The comforter was covered in cigarette burns and stains, and it looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. But the real kicker was the bugs. Every day, we had to deal with cockroaches and other creepy crawlies crawling around the room. It was like we were living in a swamp. The Safari Inn is an apt name for this hotel, considering how much wildlife is in here. And to top it all off, the door was not soundproof at all. We could hear every little noise outside, and passersby could hear everything we were doing inside. It was like we had no privacy whatsoever. In short, if you're looking for a decent place to stay, stay far, far away from the Safari Inn. It was a complete disaster that no one should have to endure. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Wish I did more research before booking this place. Staying here for 3 nights so we can see our family who's in Chico and Orland--just a place to sleep! So my sister and I shared a single queen room. *Heads up: you're still going to have to put down a $100 DAMAGE DEPOSIT even if you've already paid*The bed is so uncomfortable, only one small pillow for each side of the queen mattress and 2 sheets to go on top (with 2 loose sheets that are *supposed* to be fitted sheets, the floor (tiles) feels like they haven't been cleaned in weeks/months, there's one light in the place that works, we only got one bath towel that can barely cover a 5'3" tall woman. Not to mention the several TRAINS that goes by only at 5AM for some reason, the planes that fly over around that time too, and the garbage truck that came around 6AM on Monday--which wouldn't be a huge deal but every room is on ground floor basically. Gonna use the money I saved on this place to spend on a chiropractor and a spa day. So I guess that's a win?

The room had a fowl odor and there was tissue in the sheets meaning they never replaced the sheets from the prior guest, so disgusting, another reason I carry my own bedding. This is a $50 hotel room charging $95. The only good thing was the TV.
