Had an emergency and doubted anything would be open at 1am. When everyone else is closed, they're open until 2am! That's 4 stars alone in my book. ??♂️

It's a very big Safeway. And it does have a deli and plants and a pretty good selection. The workers are very nice and helpful. Fruit and produce is very nice. Also they have a really nice floral section and bakery.

I just recently visited and I had a very rude cashier.I asked him for his name he said it was Jackson but he was not helpful at all. He yelled at me when I didn’t know my phone number.

The staff here is lovely. And we are all so sad. You don’t serve coffee anymore. I am sad because you’re blaming it on homeless people don’t be so greedy. Coffee is not that expensive. Everyone is a potential customer. And a lot of people that are on EBT like to drink coffee too. EBT sales are still sales. $$$$$$$ Get with it. Safeway on w Sacramento Avenue. My suggestion is some sensitivity training for the staff so they have less anxiety about people who are in a house in flux. No coffee. Not okay Safeway. Hospitality is key. I was ready to buy coffee and no hot coffee? Yikes! Chevron across the road. Make sure I got some hot coffee. Thank you Chevron maybe you could talk to Safeway.

Terrible service, employees are half asleep, slow, unresponsive and terrible judgement of portions for hot food. Over priced and unreasonable. Never going there for lunch again.

They seriously need to either repair or replace almost all of their shopping carts. Every time I go there are like 5 of us trying to find one that isn't seriously damaged, noisy or crooked or all of the above.

Thank you to the customer service. My mother comes there regularly and just earlier today Oct 11th, 2023, my mother came to me because she doesn't speak English and said that she gave a 10 dollar bill for a gallon bleach she bought but was rung up as a 5 dollar bill. My mother and I went back to go check but went back to the customer service instead because the cashier was busy and I didn't want to interrupt business. The gentlemen was really understanding and knows that my mom goes to that Safeway and does her shopping and pays her bills there. The gentleman made it right. Thank you for so much. 5 stars.

Man it's a great store whatever whatever but it's way too dark I fell and hit the ground so hard and not even one person said man are you okay or anything or even laugh for that matter or even they just all walked by me and it's weird strange people are getting stranger by the moment I guess it ain't stores fault but they definitely need a little bit more lighting

Almost all the bagels in the bakery cabinet were dark brown, overdone, burned.I've worked in food service/kitchen for 10 years and I would have been embarrassed to present that to customers.The cart locked up on me while I was still in the Safeway parking lot trying to load my groceries, I wasn't even on the Walgreens side. That was kinda annoying. Had to drag it out of the way.

Just the right size. Glad the cart wheels freeze up. Keeps the homeless on notice. Now if the shopping center would just clean up the rest.
