A wonderful place with such very friendly, and helpful people. They've been a huge help for me and so many others I know. They work really hard to create a safe place for the lgbt+ community. They do so many events for the community. The trans support group has been key to me still being alive, to find out that I am not the only trans person in butte county was amazing. The community and friends I have found there have been some of my best allies. Stonewall Chico is my family, I strongly suggest you come and check them out and see if they can be yours too.

Without a doubt the kindest and most helpful LGBTQ+ center you’ll find anywhere. The groups are a welcome place for everyone, regardless of where you are at in your journey.

The staff has a good sense of what/or where a group may be suitable for you. A good amount of references, pamphlets and a literary section in the back room.

The trans group is run by a gay man run by the name of Conner Wenzel. Has the board EVER seen him run a group? Do they know the disaster they have there? yes, he took hormones and the whole shebang, but he identifies as a gay man, and as such is ill suited to help trans women transition. His words, not mine "Trans people are biased against gay people" THEN WHY ARE YOU RUNNING THE GROUP HUH?? It is a biased group, plain and simple, that you will never get any actual help for. People in there who have been in their 5 years and have never changed a thing about themselves. Still depressed, still full beards, still on anti androgen's, and if you try to help these individuals get a leg up in their transition, the gay trans man (whose transition is complete and passes very well) will shut you down, giving you excuses as to why you can't help these trans women. He also has them on board, so they will also berate you, as they are part of "the good ol boys club" and will make sure you don't fit in or belong unless you play along with their emotional biases. NO! I want to talk about trans issues, not watch you perform at the gay man's choir! Go to the gay mans group and show it off! The trans group is a disaster and they need a real helper. Someone like Aydin Kennedy was, not this ridiculous human hurdle who is ruining lives and prolonging treatment for the poor women in his group's gender dysphoria. I pray for them and hope they leave and find real help soon!

They support a large community of people, especially youth, who often have little to no support otherwise. They educate the general population who have little to no understanding (often misunderstanding) of the community and the citizens who make it up.
