When the pre washers ( the people before you enter) scrubbed my vehicle they really didn't at all. Went through once the washer didn't even hit the front or back of the car, I mean at all it wasn't even wet. Went through a second and really paid attention to the over spinner scrubber and it barely even touched the car. We usually use the auto in Willows and it does an extremely much better job and is much cheaper.

If I have to go thru it twice, no problem. No worries. Great vacuum system with no time limit. Excellent.

Even after talking with Dana, I didn’t get as much as an apology for the inconvenience of being stuck in the car wash twice in one week. I was simply told to file a damages claim at the Esplanade location where it occurred. It’s obvious they don’t value their customers as long as they make money

I would give this ZERO stars if i could. I DO NOT recommend this car wash! Had to have my truck run through the car wash ×2 and it still was not clean. Also, I noticed several scratches after.

Vacuums don't suck! Meaning there is very little suction. Going to stop coming here until I see a sign that reads "improved vacuums" or something like that.

Surf Thru Car Wash Review: This place is a little less than an "ok" car wash, because of the price and the managers. The employees on the premises are nice but the the managers (that I've dealt with at least) are kind of jerky. A few weeks ago I needed to cancel my plan for about 4 or 5 months so I came by in person and asked to cancel as of that day, the 17th. Surf Thru typically charges my bank account around the 21st or 22nd. The employee was nice, and gave me a phone number and told me to call the manager to cancel. So I called that number, left my name & number and asked them to please cancel my plan asap and I requested a confirmation call back. No call back. So I called on the 18th and left another message. I was nervous that I wasn't getting a call back so I called Chico Surf Thru. The employee said they'd pass on the message to the manager. I felt confident that my plan was cancelled. On the 22nd I was charged $24.99 for that month! One of the reasons I was so desperate to cancel was because I was in the middle of switching bank accounts and that particular account didn't have ANY money in it, so I was charged a $37 bank fee as well! $61.99 in total! I came by in person on that day, the 22nd and told a young lady the entire story and she was super nice and made sure my plan was cancelled. She had told me I'd have to talk to the manager about a refund and to continue calling her because that particular manager (Dana) handles disputes. She also gave me the name & number of another manager as well, Carl. She let me through the gate but since my plan was cancelled, I drove left through the exit of course. (Note this, for later). I continued to call Dana a total of 3 times but never heard back from her. On the 25th, I decided to call Carl. Left a nice message requesting my monthly payment back as well as payment for my bank fee since I cancelled in plenty of time. He called me back right away sounding a little rushed and bothered, but told me that he would handle it in the morning so I was content, although afterwards I realized there was no mention of any reimbursement, just that he would get back to me. He never got back to me. Instead, I got a text the next morning confirming that my account was cancelled, something I did myself already 9 days before! Attempting to do so on the 17th first in person, then on the 18th over a voicemail then over the phone...... then finally got an actual cancellation receipt on the 22nd.... now I'm getting a text on the 26th telling me something I already know? How is that taking care of the problem of being charged $61.99 when I cancelled way in advance? I was getting very frustrated! I FINALLY got a call from Dana on the 28th. She asked the reason for my call (breathe....take a deep breath, Jenny, don't be a Karen...) so I calmly explained my story. Again. She didn't apologize. Didn't say a word, just asked me what I "wanted." (Breathe!) Again, I requested a refund for the month I cancelled and for a refund for my bank's charge since I cancelled in plenty of time. She said she'd "refund me for the month even though I went through the car wash." Excuse me? (Again. DEEP breath, Jenny). I told her that I, in fact, did not go through the car wash and that there is no other way to exit other than to be let through the boom gate. I had to uncomfortably defend myself. This is obviously a tactic of hers. I asked her again if Surf Thru could please reimburse me for the $37 fee the bank charged me. She told me I'd have to go through my bank for that problem. So basically, she was telling me the fee has nothing to do with Surf Thru. Hence the 2 stars, right there. Additionally, I think it's expensive for what you get. I've had to get back in line to wash my car a second time and I don't think that's something we should have to do just to get a clean car. I'm not even talking about bugs. The bugs are something I think customers have to work to get off. I'm talking bas

I went through the car wash the first time and pulled over to vacuum to notice that there was soap residue on my right side. After speaking to the attendant and going another 2 times through the car wash I went home to notice an employee stuck their price of gum on the side of my car. I never made a stink or problem about the situation but this is over the top. By the way I could not receive a refund.

Great place to get your car washed! We got the rainbow wash. Afterwards we went into the vacuum area and they have the best vacuum area. Really easy to use very quickly.I highly recommend Surf Thru for a great car wash!

I have always liked this place and I visited probably 3 to 4 times a week! Nice employees, they seem to like their job! Car wash is actually very nice. Sometimes I have to go through a second time to get all the bugs off... The only reason I took off one star is because a lot of times their vacuums aren't working or their vending machines are out of order. A lot of times the place looks a little dirty with trash, but there are so many people going in and out with their cars. I'm sure it's hard to keep it spotless

Watch the employees who wave you into the tire lanes/slots before the car wash. There was a car behind me, and they waved that car into a position that was practically tailgating my car through the car wash. I couldn't even see the front of the car behind me through the rear view mirror. I was afraid that, when I momentarily braked my car to shift into drive at the end of the car wash. the car behind me would rear end me. That kind of carelessness is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Not worth it. $17 dollar car wash, first car of the morning and I should of just washed it at home. Dryer doesn’t even take water off a basic vehicle and too much soap gets caught in spots. I dont know if tire shine is included at this price but the tires came out dull as well. Rip off.

This car wash is long and thorough. Two lanes makes it easy to get through and the express lane is great when you buy a membership. Staff is always helpful and courteous.

I went here for the first time not knowing at all how it worked. I somehow missed the entrance signs and parked in the parking areas where i thought you self wash. So i asked an employee what to do and he directed me to the entrance.. I told the "cashier" that I wanted to self wash my old truck. And they never told me that they don't offer that. So I payed for the *epic* wash thinking that there's certain things i can use and I parked in one of the spots I thought was where you can wash it yourself. Then I asked the employees what i missed. I had to go back through and they only gave me the express wash. An absolute waste of my money and time. My truck isn't even that clean. There are still spots on the windows. If I knew how it worked here I wouldn't have gone. No website to look through either.

Typically it does a great job, but lately both locations are having a lot of broke down parts. I went through 3 times today to finally have a clean truck!

Been to several membership car washes in the U.S., this one is a great value, it is a solid place to sign up for!
