I have been with Tricounties bank for around 5 years. I opened my account at the Penn Valley branch. They were very courteous and friendly. I have since moved to Chico and changed my branch to the Pillsbury Rd location. Since I have moved I have had bad experiences. I have found them to be unfriendly and unaccommodating. Good customer service doesn't require that you are accommodating but it does mean you need to be courteous.

There simply is not another bank that provides individual support and personal attention to its customers. The branch manager Randy at Tri Counties on Pilsbury exemplifies the level.of service that extends far beyond what anyone could expect . Whether your account is stately or meager, reguardless of age, race or color, Randy has, and will act, with your best interest at heart. The understanding and considerations he has shown to myself and my clients should be noted in his personelle file and commended. He has proven to be financially innovative and solution oriented. Its is with extreme gratitude and appreciation I will remain a loyal customer at Tri Counties. For their fiscal capabilities and the personal considerations generously applied by the 5 ☆ branch manager Randy.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Randy is a terrible manager and accuses people of falsely depositing money into their account. He was helping my friend at the drive-through window, he wouldn’t explain a policy to her, threw her belongings back in the window tray, and turned off the microphone switch so that he couldn’t hear her anymore and then walked away. He is RUDE! Many of the employees who work here have been mean to us in the drive-through window. They give us false information- where we’ve called another Tri Counties Bank and they told us something completely different and didn’t know what the Pillsbury branch was talking about. My friend is now switching banks because she was treated so poorly by RANDY at the Pillsbury location. Beware of them, they are very sketchy.

Don't normally go to this location maybe this is my second visit went to the drive thru yesterday did not have any of my account info gave my social only pulled out 20 bucks no one asked for my Id or any security questions regarding me or my accounts, really made me feel my accounts are not safe at this bank anyone can drive up and take advantage of my accounts, hopefully corporate will read this review and make some much needed changes to this location.

Yet to have a problem with TriCounties, I've been using them for a few good years now. When my card was compromised they were quick to freeze the account and return the money to me, as well as I got my new card pretty quickly too. Staff are always friendly and helpful whenever I have to go into the bank in person as well.

I am a refugee from Tri Counties Bank. Substantial over charges, staff unwilling or unable to make adjustments. They maybe local, at the expense of the population they serve: Oh, they only only serve the stock holders with increased dividends. How were they able to charter a chartered representative agreement?
