Haven't tried the tanning service's.. But find myself in here shopping for camis and active top's.. service is great and the girls who work at the front are very nice :)

Everyone was super friendly and the place is very cute, but I got a spray tan before my trip to Mexico and no one could tell I even went. Friends that knew I had scheduled my tan asked if I had cancelled my appointment. I also wasn't told about the time frame for standard vs rapid solution so had to then plan my drive to the airport accordingly at 5:00pm. Unfortunately I was not the bronzed goddess I wanted to be in Mexico.

The workers were very professional. It was my first time and I was nervous but they understood and were very patient. The price point is good and my tan held up for a week. The storefront is clean and I felt comfortable. I'll be going back again soon.

I was really excited about trying this place and was told good things but I honestly wouldn't recommend them for spray tans. Everyone was really nice and the place is very clean! But this is literally the worst spray tan I've ever gotten and I've been getting them religiously for years. It was super uneven, large parts of the tan just missing, splotchy, and all around poorly done. I have multiple big events coming up and am literally embarrassed to even go anywhere with this tan.

This salon is amazing, everyone here is incredibly friendly and accommodating. All the employees work extremely hard to make sure all customers are helped in a timely manner. There's never pressure to upsell things like some of the other establishments in town. When you come here you are supporting a highly reputable local business and never experience unfriendly corporate vibes. I will continue to remain a loyal customer as long as I reside in Chico! Thank you so much tropical zone for always providing a comforting and relaxing experience!

The staff is friendly and great at making recommendations when you ask for them. Not to mention, they have the best month to month prices and plans so you don’t have to pay a ton for single sessions. And I love the boutique! Just a cherry on top!

I really enjoyed my experience coming here. I booked a spray tan a few weeks before my wedding to just see if it was something I would like/want to do again beforehand. I forget the name of the gal who does the spray tans, but she made it an incredibly easy and pleasant experience. I was nervous because I've never had a spray tan, let alone set food in a tanning salon ever before, and I really didn't want to look like an Oompa Loompa. She was so helpful, guiding me through what I may be looking for, and through the entire process. It's slightly awkward to stand naked in front of a woman you have never met before, in a "shower", while she blows cold air on your body, but she was so professional and kind. I went back a second time because I did choose to go for it for my wedding and she was exactly the same way. I so appreciated it!
