Had a good time there, this was Sunday 09/23. Showed up early where one of the first ones on the range. Clean good customer service, I was in town visiting and it was a good 2 hour range time. I would come here again

Staff was rude and not helpful. Purchased a uniform shirt and had it tailored. The shirt is so small and I can’t even cross my arms because it’s so tight. Highly suggest purchasing shirt elsewhere or taking your shirt to a seamstress. I also suggest not expecting to go in here with questions because they won’t be answered.

Rude and insulting employees, probably generation Z, like to give shitty attitude to customers while not knowing what they're doing. I came in to sign up for a CCW class and immediately the guy working the counter gives me attitude by saying "What do you want?" then corrects me when i said CCL by saying "You mean CCW". I hand him the paperwork i got from the Sherrif's department and he says," What's this?" without even reading it. I took the paperwork back and informed him i wouldn't be using their services, on the way out the snotty girl that works there says sarcastically "have a nice day". Never give these clowns your business, their service is rude and their guns are way overpriced.

Very poor customer service. Had a gun transferred here, they couldn't find it for a month & it was in our name shipped Fedex on the pkg. Spent a lot of time with the shipper & others multiple calls & emails. Put it on consignment but we ended up selling ourselves. We went in to transfer & they couldn't find our case, so they gave us a cheaper substitute. Left a msg for the mgr to call on her voicemail, she never returned the call. I'd use other biz in the area instead of them.

Tried to buy a firearm from them, they misspelled my last name on the DROS then argued with me when I wanted it corrected. The mistake caused the background check to get delayed. In that time, I was able to purchase the firearm from another store (using the correct spelling) and had my new gun before the DOJ approved my Down Range purchase. After requesting a refund from Down Range numerous times and being told they were "working on it" I was offered a 50% refund. I filed a fraud claim with my credit card company and got all of my money back. Thank you Capital One. I won't even go into Down Range to drop a deuce in their bathroom.

We ordered a case of shells and had them shipped to down range. They were delivered the 12th and I went in on the 13th to pick them up, they said they haven’t been checked in yet so they would text me once they are ready to be picked up.. I called several times wondering what was taking so long being told by one employee, I don’t me to sound rude but they’ll get to it eventually and get back to you! Being almost a week since it got delivered we had enough of the run around and decided to drive the 45 minutes to their store to be feed lies and told they sold 4 boxes and are gonna have to do a refund for them when they weren’t theirs to sell! I purchased them from Rogers sporting good and had them shipped to them for pick up! Then to be given six boxes that look like they were taken hunting, all the boxes have wear and tear, one box is taped back together, all of them are damp! Plus they were given to us in a smaller box that they weren’t even shipped in!

Thank god, a gun store that DOESNT price gouge during Covid. Everything is priced competitively, even comparable to online retailers. Good gun selection with very polite, knowledgeable employees. The membership is worth it, saves a lot of money on rental fees and makes it cheaper to shoot multiple times a month. When your prices encourage your customers to shoot more often, they become safer shooters and smarter defenders. Props to this place.

I order a firearm from another state and designated Chico indoor gun range as my FFL dealer. The gun was delivered July 20th to their store. I have not heard anything since then. Not even a courtesy call to update the current status of my firearm. Usually processing takes 24-72hrs to check the gun in, but this store is taking an awfully long time. I've call them and they did not even check to confirm the status of delivery. Maybe I'm impatient and they are back up? However, this has been one of the most horrible customer service experience to date. Praying everything will get situated, I will never give my business to this store again.

I bought a pistol here back in March 2021 and just completed a CCW course with them end of May 2021. Really nice facility. All the staff I've interacted with have always been very knowledgeable and professional and seem to genuinely want to help out. The facility is very clean, including the restrooms, range and the classroom for CCW. The CCW (Dave N.) instructor was very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job in the classroom and out on the range. He communicates and educated very well but still managed to keep things light and humorous enough to prevent you from wanting to nod off. Great place. Nicest gun store / range I've seen in Northern California by far.
