They have terrible service...they are courteous but always seem to be short of help...have to wait even if you are the only one standing there. Drive up same thing...if they are busy inside they do not have enough people to come to the drive up window.Today I wanted to open a HSA( health savings acct)...was told they don't offer that anymore. Time for me to change banks.

Probably the worst bank I've ever had to deal with. . 2 customers inside, myself an a couple already being helped. 3-4 tellers. it takes like 5-10 minutes for the teller to call me up to the window( after she ignores me an goes to the drive up window to apparently help a truck that drove up an then left. I'm There to cash a work check, asks for my SS number to put in there system in order to build a file. I say "It's already in there." ( I don't want to write down my SS number) she finally looks up my lic number. Starts counting money puts change on counter( doesn't count it).

Went to cash out my disability card there and have the money put in my account. While the teller was cashing out my account, the machine went down. They told me to come back later that day to get my funds. I then went to Bank of America to cash out the card but was told there was no money on it but there was a pending transaction. I went back to us bank to ask them about it and they refused to help me. They just said to call the number on the back of the card. Bank of America refused to help me until the transaction stops pending. So thank you US Bank for screwing me out of hundreds of dollars!!

Worst bank to do business with in Chico hands down! Specifically Cherie Deasee with the Esplanade branch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! She is unhelpful, rude, and a vile human being. She has the absolute WORST customer service of a human I have ever experienced and done business with in my life. Don't even bother opening a business account with this bank. Take you money elsewhere. As an office manager and bookkeeper for almost 10 years, I have NEVER had such issues with a bank and our own authorization on file as I have had with this branch on Esplanade, of what I can and cannot do for the business accounts. The owner and myself sat down and turned in an authorization for me almost a year ago to make deposits, initiate stop payments, transfer funds between accounts, cancel checks, and request transactions or statements from the bank. They happily let us turn this authorization in. I try requesting a stop payment on a check that was fraudulently written. Turns out, I'm not allowed to do that even with an authorization on file. Tried to request the remaining transactions before one of the accounts was closed mid-month due to the same fraudulent activity. I am denied again even though they have the authorization on file. The only thing I am allowed to do under my authorization on file is give them money to deposit into our accounts. (Go figure right, they can't help me but will gladly take money from me for the business accounts) The owner and myself will be going down again tomorrow morning because he is \\\"tired of having to hold my hand to get anything done\\\" (his words) with this bank without having to do it himself. That's why we have an authorization on file with them, so he does not have to deal with this part of everything. If this cannot be resolved tomorrow morning with a new authorization on file and confirmation that the authorization on file will be honored to the fullest extent of what's written, we will be moving all of the US Bank business accounts to Northern California National Bank where they honor their business authorizations and have AMAZING customer service and support. Did I also mention US Bank will be charging $8.00 per account for not having paperless preferences at the beginning of the year? What a joke of a bank.

I do feel the staff was very polite. However, US Bank is just there to take your money from you. I was charged $7 just to cash a $200 check drawn on this US Bank. I spent no more than 30 seconds at a teller window. Including chit chat. When I asked who I could dispute the fee with, they told me to go online to usbank.com Just: WOW! Really? I do not understand how they justify the fee. I was told as a non-customer they must charge me the fee. Yet the check was from this exact branch and I drove here just to cash it. Not even fair, at all. I copied and pasted the below info from their own website... does not exactly instill confidence in them or their services. I will never go into a US Bank again. Greedy, unfair. "Investment products and services are: Not FDIC Insured May Lose Value Not Bank Guaranteed Not Insured by any Federal Government Agency"

Horrible mean people. When trying to notify them of a death they were rude and didn't seem to have the time to deal with. Will never do business with them.

I have been a U.S. Bank customer for years. Their customer service is the best I have experienced! The tellers are prompt and very friendly. They always go above and beyond to make sure my needs have been fulfilled! This branch is the best!!

I love this branch. The staff is always so friendly and they have a drive through when you may not want to get out of the car. I have been banking with US Bank for 13 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I love a business that knows you by name!

WORST BANK EVER!! I had banked there the last year and needed to do a name change. It was harder than dmv, social security, and my employer combined. I had to go there 3 times. I had a new license, social security card, and court stamped document. They treated me like a criminal. The woman who was " helping" me ( I believe her name was Cherie) put her hand up and told me to stop speaking. She kept asking why and wanted my marriage certificate . I was forced to tell two tellers who stood there like cops that my name changed from a divorce. Everyone in the bank witnessed this and it was incredibly embarrassing. A bank isn't just a bank . There is a difference between being average and being horrible. Being treated this way is just unacceptable. Save yourself, go elsewhere !

Rude, nosy and obtrusive. I actually dread going inside. An abhorrent slice of tedium which I can not wait to rid myself of. Worst customer service ever.

Worst bank in town. I would give less than one star if I could. Their atm is down every weekend I've tried to use it. They also charge for a deposit using your mobile phone. Never have problems with Chase or Wells Fargo.

$5 to cash a check written on a US Bank personal check? Rip off lately. And I walked out just deposit the check at my bank.
