I have used Fastenal for many years, for many different things. Including all my needs for medium quantities of bolts, hand tools, and consumables. I also had been using them for shipping crates across the country from one Fastenal to another. Today I called to find out the availability of some bolts, and I was told "I'm sorry, but if you don't have an account we can't help you". THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ME so I will be going elsewhere from now on, including using someone else for my shipping needs. Sad to see a business turning away long time customers when other businesses are struggling to find new customers and just stay in business. Hope this new business model works out for them, but for me, I will buy my items elsewhere, and will definitely let others know of my experience. Good luck.
