This place used to be a mess but has been so much nicer the past few years. The staff is knowledgeable but they do have limited selection of things like pex plumbing fittings that any other hardware store would carry.

We don't have an Ace hardware store in Merced so we went to Chowchilla. Closes to us. Only because we were looking for something from their sale paper.

Store empty of customers and I still didn't get any help from the 2 clerks or whatever their called there. They were looking at their phones when I walked in. After looking up and down aisles and didn't find what I wanted I left empty handed. Thanks for your help!

This place is like a circus they tell you one thing one day and tell you the complete opposite the next day they don't have anybody in there that knows what they're doing or talking about I can go to a store with monkeys working behind the counter and get better service
