Rv Resorts offer a lot more amenities/services than the Lakes has to offer. Such as friendly staff, accommodating check in hours, gym, clean amenities, and more. You will be lucky if you even get to use the pool & hot tub as it remains closed majority of the time. Want to put your trash on the curb for pick up Friday? It'll be there when you check out Sunday. If you're torn with stopping or continuing on I would suggest you continue on. Speaking of friendly office staff. One of the office staff members is minimally friendly and the other one is very rude. You would assume those staff members are paying you to stay at the park. Surprisingly enough the guests and owners PAY THEM. Considering buying a lot? Don't. Many contradictions between the bylaws and CC&Rs. You would be better off owning a lot on the side of the highway. Less headache for sure. If you go to look at the resort and make an offer get all promises and things stated in writing. Thinking of putting your lot in the rental pool? Don't. It will only benefit one person and that person won't be you.

Paid for lakeside, but it was covered in goose poop and annoying barking dog that was vocal the entire time we were there. Came here to lounge and swim in pool, but it had large turds of goose crap in the pool and all around it. The guy who checked us in said pool is currently closed until that afternoon..... yup it's still closed 1 days later. I feel like they should have discounted our stay as amenities were not available. Also, there is a cat with a mangled leg in the office lobby that hobbles around. The office area was filthy( very bad) with torn up couches from that cat using them as its bed AND tons of cat hair everywhere. Really, this place will make you sick. Ants are bad here as well. Will not be returning.

(Stay began 21SEP23) We wound up here because the other RV park in town lost our reservation, and after seeing that park we opted for The Lakes. It was just what you would expect from a 'resort', except the rules were not strictly enforced. Everything was neat and tidy. The landscape crew started too early in the morning, but you can't have everything now, can you?The highlight was spending some time with Azul, the disabled but very friendly office cat.

Nice place to spend time. Here golf is free on the 18 hole championship golf course when staying at the RV park. The first 9 holes are the best holes to play and are well kept with nice views of the homes and the lake. The back 9 holes are not so great and the golf course is not in very good shape. The RV park is in good shape and the small lake is nice to look at while walking your dog! This place was always crowded years ago but now it is not crowded anymore and easy to make reservations for a short or long stay. I suppose times are tough for people and traveling to Chowchilla might not be feasible. If you are seeking a getaway in your Rv to just relax or play a round of golf, this place will fit the bill.

Disappointed that I could not book due to the year of my trailer. Just because the year is older it does not mean it looks bad.

We spent 4 nights here. It's beautiful. The sites are separated by hedges for privacy. They are level and wide. The landscaping is gorgeous. It's very quiet.

Great place to stay. No issues, you have to make golf reservations ahead of time and pick up a voucher. Clean site, nice cheap laundry.

Extremely clean and well maintained. Next door to golf course to which you receive 2 rounds per day at check in. Very secure as pass keys are needed everywhere!! Washrooms and laundry were excellent. The dog park was tiny!! Some people had not cleaned up after their pet so it was also dirty!! That was the only downside though.

We have stayed here many times, the last few times there are more and more people living here. The place was really run down and people there are not very friendly. Took a great place and ran it into the ground. We will not be staying here anymore sadly to say but it’s gone down hill the last 2 years.

Very nice park with nice facilities. The park shares a back wall with a row of houses in the golf course community. One of the houses has very loud, aggressively barking dogs any time they notice something on the other side of the brick wall. Also, there was a rooster crowing at 4am, I'm honestly not even sure where that was coming from. Very convenient - right off Hwy. 99. It was overall agood experience.

Don’t bring nice bikes or belongings because these hillbillies will steal your stuff. Lost 2 expensive bike locked on my rack!! UNBELIEVABLY!!!!!! The Management has to be in on it!!! The residents bikes are unlocked and unsecured and still there in the morning but locked bikes are cut off the bike rack and STOLEN!!! If you have any other alternative stay somewhere else or expect your stuff to be stolen!!!!

Have your ducks in a row if you’re going to park at this joint. It’s for the following reasons that my husband and I will never visit this park in the future…I tried calling and received a message that the office was closed. My luck, I had just missed them. We thought we would drive onto them and do what we have done many times before at parks all over the country - stay the night in an available spot and pay the next day. We only needed to rest for the night and this has never been a problem for us in the past.We arrived to the gate around 7:40pm. After hours check-in without prior reservation is an ABSOLUTE NO. And I mean ABSOLUTELY NO!We wanted to park overnight and pay in the morning the way many parks allow. That practice is ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED here - despite the many open and available spots. (I know this because there was no paperwork in the after-hours boxes.) This is THE first RV park in our 4 years of full-timing that does not offer this service or an after-hours check-in contact. I completely understand security and protection for their guests, but they can’t spring for an after-hours camp host -seriously???Furthermore, arrivals after 9pm are NOT allowed - AT ALL! You better not have any problems w your RV/trailer on your way to this park. There is no one to call for assistance if you cannot meet their deadline. However, you WILL be greeted with a bunch of the busy-body campers. They’ll tell you to go stay at the local grocery store until morning…regardless of the number of open spots within the park. They’ll talk over one another spouting the same information all at once. Conclusion to our exhausting 11 hour-day of driving -still without a reservation, we arrived around 8:30pm to Arena RV down the road from Lakes RV. The friendly, managing couple rented us their last spot without any hesitation or problem.

Nice rv park. We didn’t use any of amenities. We were parked along main road so there was a bit of road noise but the park itself was quiet. My only complaint is that after spending two nights there they wanted to charge us for a half a day to stay an extra 2 hours while my husband took a business call. No thank you!
