Albertsons – 3rd & J St, Chula Vista
I might be a little biased with this review — I actually worked at this location back when it was still Lucky’s, before Albertsons took over in 1999! But even after all these years, it’s still a pleasure to walk into this store.
The employees are always friendly and helpful, and the store is consistently super clean and well-organized. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for, and the layout just makes sense.
One feature I especially love is the DMV kiosk inside — such a convenient touch that saves time and hassle. The produce and meat are always fresh, and you can tell the team here takes pride in maintaining quality throughout the store.
Whether I’m stopping in for a quick grocery run or just enjoying the nostalgia, shopping at this Albertsons is always a great experience.

Great customer service.....I had a bad ankle and I was SO GLAD that the mobility chair was avaliable for me to use while I shopped.

Large store with a large selection. Downside was long check out lines and kind of pricey.

Please retrain your deli staff. I walked out today without buying anything... again. They serve whoever they feel like regardless of when you show up. They don't ever give the amount requested. I will be going elsewhere from now on. That is disappointing because you are close and convenient. Not again though.

FANRASTIC! BEAUTIFUL STORE, VERY SPACIOUS, FRIENDLY STAFF.
HUGH STORE WITH HUGH INVENTORY MAKES IT A FUN ADVENTURE TO SHOP FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. THE ORGANIC VEGETABLE AREA IS MARVELOUS. AS GOOD AS IT GETS!

Asked a employee about hot/cold bags she said this is all we got ...I know she didn't want to bother so I said thank you walked away and asked another employee she was really helpful and took the time to show me where the bags ...thank that lady...

Huge store with lots & lots of everything. I don't shop there regularly, so I don't have any idea where they fit pricewise, but the store is large & well stocked.

The customer service is great but twice now we’ve gotten rotten seafood from their seafood department, which they’ve always fixed.

Store closes too early at 11. They allow repeat visits by random derelicts which makes it feel unsafe.
Faith is a strange bagger who doesn't put all items in bags until asked twice. There was no reason to keep those items unbagged. Store fails to order paper bags.

Would really like them to put in a convince store gas service car wash. They have room for a street front. Just saying
