WORST Customer Service at Arco/AmPm on 3rd Ave. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Don't know if the employees real name is Erick or not but he was extremely rude to my husband. My husband works concrete and was dirty after work and this employee yelled at him calling him homeless and telling him to get out of the store. When asking who the manager is he refused to let me know her name or number.

It's a gas station I don't believe this one is doing all it can to keep prices down. That can be said about most gas stations in San Diego. I will say I do think arco has good gas. I can't rate employers as I didn't go inside. This review is shorter than most of my reviews cause I really don't have much to say about it.

The worker Antonio give me higher price for cup of ice and pretend that the cup was full of ice just to sell me the ice cup at higher price. They got mad just because I argue over the price and told me I shall never return. Haters plus they cheat on prices and offer overprices.

If I honestly can give 0 stars I would, today was by far the worst experience ever at this ampm. So I went today with my son to the ampm near my house and the cashier there (Denise) was the most rudest and disgusting employee ever. I have gone to that location multiple times and it seems all the women there are bitter and rude and don't always feel like working there but unfortunately they are. So as I was ready to pay I asked her if she was going to scan the app and she literally snatched my phone from my hand instead of asking if she can take it to scan and when she finished she practically threw it at me. So I was a bit taken back and asked if that's normal to grab it out of someone's hand and she proceeded to tell me "well you should have told me before I grabbed it", well thats not my job to be asking, it's common sense to ask if you can grab someone else's property. Then she proceeds to yell and curse in front of not only me but in front of my 14 yr old son. That right there is cause for her to get fired because she does not belong in a place of business where she has to deal with customers. I'm so utterly disappointed.

On December 14, 2020 around 5pm my friend went into AMPM to purchase gas. She put $5 on number 5 and was not given a receipt. Consequently, when I went in to speak to AMPM employees to get air, they refused service. Kimberly told me that she felt like I was lying because I'm black. At that point, I went out to my vehicle to grab my phone to record. Kimberly and another employee who refused to give me her name, nor did she have a name tag visible, kept refusing service. When I learned that my friend had already put the money in the machine for air, I asked Ms. Kimberly if she can refund me, she told me that it wasn't her "damn problem." I also asked my friend to come in so that they can verify that she purchased gas since she was not given a receipt. Even after they acknowledged and confirmed that my friend purchased gas along with cigarettes, they refused. I feel highly discriminated against, insulted and humiliated. I feel like these employees should be fired. Especially considering that they kept instigating, were yelling and cursing in front of customers, one of the employees did not have a visible name tag and refused to give me her name, and they based their decision to give me air on my race.

I can't understand why the location located at 765 E. Street is racist against African-Americans. Every time I go to get a car wash they say it doesn't work. Today, 9/22/2019 I went to get a car wash. There was a car in the wash, and the wash was working. The cashier, who is Mexican, told me that it wasn't working. Again, I'm watching another car being driven by a Mexican gentleman going through the wash as we speak. She told me that the guy paid outside, which isn't true. Then, she told me that the soap didn't work. I stopped, and continued to watch this car going through the wash. As I started to walk over to the car wash to ask the gentleman who dries cars for tips, the cashier came outside, and yelled his name. I then got into my car, and started to leave. However, I asked the gentleman whose car had just came out of the wash. I asked him if the soap was working, and he said yes. The dilemma, why was the Mexican gentleman allowed to go through the wash, but the African-American was turned away? This is constant behavior at this location. How are they even allowed to stay in business when they do not honor their own policy? They promote buy two washes, and the third one is free. However, I am never able to redeem my third wash because of instances like this. I think this deserves a call to the Better Business Bureau, which I am going to do right now to report this egregious behavior. It's ridiculous, racist, and beyond reproach.

They always try to overcharge and think we don't notice. My bank statement shows that they have even charged my card twice for purchases. They always try to charge us tax on an EBT food card (which is illegal) There is a cashier in there at its always extremely rude to my children and I. We have tried smiling at her and being nice to her just to have her still be rude. We watch as she in nice to the customers in front of us and behind us. I keep all my receipts and have started having my kids always ask for receipts when ever this woman checks us out because she always over charges. The 87 cents deal for drink she would always charge my children $1 and today was my final straw. When we arrived she was out side sweeping so we were relieved that my children didn't have to be treated awful. She stopped what she was doing when they went in and ran back and YELLED at my children saying the drink prices had changed and they needed to pay attention. They went from 87 cents up to $2.06 paid with an EBT card My children said nothing, my children have never said anything when she is rude to them. We have never complained about her ALWAY over charging, we have always been nice, but this treatment is outrageous!! And I feel it is time to speak up And demand something be done! It is NOT okay for an employee to treat people that way. Especially when the customers have always been nice to her. It is the only store around that carries the squirt flavor soda that we like. And she has targeted me and my children to be cruel to!!! Something NEEDS to be done!!

In the last 6 years of owning two cars, I NEVER pumped Acro Gas NEVER! I never will either, my car has ran and any car will run better without this trash gas. So to top the garbage gas, you can't pay with a credit card and the charge just to use it. So my reason for writing this review for ALL ACROs if I could!!! Went inside, rarely I feel ampm is clean, the stores just look dirty to me always. Maybe a update on the look, but I needed to use air for tires, the cashier(was friendly young guy) asked if I pumped gas I said "no", so he rants about the code is on receipt and it's a different company bblah blah blah. By LAW all gas stations have to provide free air and water. ACRO YALL SUCK, AND THE GAS DOES TO.

Probably one of the worst locations I have ever been to. They have these directional signals for each pump, not sure if anyone follows them. The pumps are old and seem outdated and get this, you cannot pay with a Credit card! A lot of people now earn extra points for gas purchases but your not able to use them here! I walked into the small store and said hey my card isn't working and the lady said oh yea we do not accept credit cards. The store itself looks very small and unkept. While walking out another customer was complaining about the same thing. I wonder how much business they lose by limiting payment options. I would avoid this location and find another gas station.
