The lady working in the front at Banfield Pet Hospital on December 23, 2023 at 1138 am honestly has the worst customer service I have ever received. I even said thank you and she says uh huh.

After numerous vet visits and discovering my Lily's health was not improving, I decided to put her to sleep. I contacted this hospital that is open 24 hrs. They were very sympathetic in the whole process. During check out they explained the cremation process and told me I would get my pretty kitty in a wooden decorative box along with her paw print. This was all included with my visit cost, which was very reasonable. ....I could not beleive this was all included. Godbless this place and the the facility that took care of her after???

If you are PCSing and need a FAVN test done for your animals, DO NOT COME HERE. We were charged over $1000 for our dog and cat to get their test done here because it is the clinic to which we've always brought them. When we were later told that MCAS Miramar's Vet Clinic takes military pets (not just MWDs), we went there to make sure our paperwork was good. I look up on their wall there at their price listing: $40 per FAVN test. I even asked if a zero had fallen because I could not believe that we paid over $500 per pet at Banfield and Miramar was only going to charge $40.When I approached the staff at Banfield about it, she rudely suggested I should have shopped around, as if this was something I could simply Google.A +/- $20 or even $50 difference, I get. But charging hundreds per pet when the test at another office is only $40 PER PET... that is *PREDATORY PRICING*.Disgusting.Also, one of the staff had arbitrarily put in a false rabies date for our dog. He had a rabies shot from the humane society before we got him and then again in the middle of 2021. So why does it say he also got a rabis shot in Sept of '22? It said it was "client provided data" when, again, we have only ever taken them to THIS Banfield. So I couldn't have provided a cert from somewhere else, especially when he isn't due until next year for the shot he got in 2021.This place used to be great. I'm glad we're leaving. Please do not come here, especially if you are military and stand a chance of going to Japan. These mistakes cost us hundreds extra and could potentially make us have to quarantine our pet there even though we did everything possible NOT to have to do that!

I notice this Banfield is going down hill for some reason. I also notice A lot of veterinarians has left my main veterinarian she has left i ask to see our second veterinarian he has left. Now they only have 2 veterinarians that's why its hard to get appointment. i also notice only one person running the front desk when i usually see 3 people. I called today 4/11/23 i need records for one of my fur baby i was on hold for 45 min and still didn't talk to anyone I wasted my lunch. one of my fur baby had 2 seizure on Sunday 4/9/23 went to emergency pet hospital. I call Banfield Monday Moring tried to make appointment so they can see my fur baby they where booked till next week . I have no choice to take my fur baby to a different pet hospital instead of Banfield. I HOPE THIS BANFIELD GETS BETTER OR IM GOING TO CHANGE HOSPITALS.

This visit was a week after our dog passed away. We were taken into the back room. The staff did a wonderful job of getting our dog cremated. The attached photo was taken as we were leaving for Banfield. He died about 20 minutes later.

This branch of Banfield has cared for my dog for 12 years of his 13 years. I cannot say enough good about the doctors and staff. If you can afford it, I recommend their insurance. It helps defray cost for routine care & shots.

My pets have been Banfield wellness plan clients for over 8 years. Our old location in Poway California was great. we recently moved and switched to this Chula vista location, and it's been terrible! we've been there for 3 separate simple routine appointments and none were smooth at all. "Understaffed" is the excuse they use every time to cover their insufficient communication, lack of knowledge, and uncaring attitude. They also don't have a site supervisor to help resolve issues. I will definitely not trust this location for any serious veterinarian needs if they can't get a vaccine appointment right. We will be trying a different location in the area, and hope to have better experience. Very disappointed

Krista/Crista I’m not exactly sure how to spell her name at the Banfield Pet Hospital inside of the petsmart on H street is absolutely amazing! Despite the horrible people that were infront of us who yelled at her, were talking bad about her INFRONT of everybody/ talking bad about her in a different language (they failed to realize my husband understood what they were saying) .. all because of a human error that had nothing to do with Krista/Crista, she remained calm and asked them politely not to be so rude & they continued .. calling her “stupid” & yelling at her. she definitely should be recognized for her great customer service, her ability to keep her composure, and the fact that she chose to be the bigger person and ignore the ignorant to help us! It was our first time here and she made us feel very welcome and helped us make our puppy her first check up appointment! .. thank you krista/crista! (:

I had no issues with the service my dog and I got. Came in for an ear infection and left with some ear drops after dropping $300. I had forgotten my dogs paperwork including his adoption and vaccines. They called to let me know they'd hold onto it as I live out of the area. Was planning to go pick it up today and I was told they don't have it. I'm not sure why they couldn't upload it to his file or at least call me before throwing it away. Now I have no record of my dog and will have to give my 5 year old dog allllll his vaccines all over again. Partly my fault for not coming in a timely manner, but I trusted a pet hospital wouldn't just throw away documentation. Really disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn't trust bringing my dog here again based on the outward carelessness of staff.
