Had an appointment @ 10 for four new tires. Alex greeted me and was very polite. Was in and out in less than an hour. Great job!

Not a very large Costco, but who doesn't love Costco and all the great stuff that they have to offer? Definitely a must go to when traveling.

Specifically for the tire center.I made an appointment for Sunday at 10AM for tire rotation and to figure out why my tire sensor light was on. They told me I needed new sensors and so I paid for 4 new ones + installation. Got a call 1 hour later that it's ready. I came by 2-3 hours later since that was the only time my other ride could take me back. When I got there to pick up, 1) they lost my keys and it took approx 20 mins to find that they were with someone else's paper work 2) when I turned on my car to go drive it, the tire light was on again so I told the workers and they scanned the sensors again--but get this, they said it looks like I need new tire sensors.Hmmm... you mean the exact service I made an appointment for and paid for?!?! I came here early enough to pick up my car and go to a baptism but because of that, I was not only late to it but I paid $260 for nothing and to waste my day-- the only day of the week I had someone who could drive me back and forth to Costco. They told me to come in another day to get it done. Very disappointing experience. Imagine planning your whole day around an appointment and paying for a service just to not get it done. Never had an issue with this tire center until now. Hoping this inconvenience can be solved.

This goes to the food Court , used the self pay machine to order , walked right over to wait right by the windows , the female employee calling out numbers , i was even assisting to the ones that didn't hear , and my number was NEVER called , mind you I was assisting telling others they called the number they had ..., and when I finally went up to ask about mine she gave me attitude and stated she called my number many times ; she was calling 817 , mine is 814 ... I know my order wasn't called ,didn't give me my full order & apart gave me a melted ice cream , i contained myself for my kids but someone else won't ... they need to speak to her to treat others with respect

Tried this new item in the food court and it was so yummy! I suggest ordering on the machines so you can see the different options because not all of them display on the physical menu.

I love Costco on Broadway in Chula Vista, they have everything you need and more, the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Today I had to add my picture on the membership card and Alexa helped me see was very professional and has a wonderful attitude. We need more people like Alexa working in customer service. Steve

I've been a Costco member for 5+ years. To this day, Costco never fails to find unique and delicious new snacks to add to their warehouses. From food to products, quality is always guaranteed at Costco making shopping less stressful.

Don't assume that because this is Costco, everything will be OK. The desk is almost always understaffed, appointments are vaguely honored, and the road hazard warranty they require you to buy is almost worthless. I will not be buying tires from them again, because the competition is actuslly better

I’m literally writing this review while standing in line waiting for someone to help me at the front desk. I had an appointment that I was on time for - thirty min ago. Now i get to hang out at the store and hope they can finish before they close in two hours, when originally I was told they would have me in and out in under an hour. The prices are good, the employees are polite, but honestly unless you want to spend hours waiting you’re better off going to a smaller place with less customers. Costco needs to schedule fewer appointments or open a few more garages to accommodate the demand.

Classic Costco experience - everything you need in massive quantities at excellent prices under one roof. Plus the crowds that come with it. As is usual, I find that coming towards opening or closing minimizes stress. Parking can get full / competitive as well. They usually do a solid job opening enough registers. The warehouse seems well stocked these days too. Their gas station is massive - usually not too much a wait as well.

This rating is only for Tony S. In the Optical Department. I had a very rude experience with another team member from that department today, and he went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out and to make sure that my prescription glasses were taken care of. I wanted to inform the management that it's people like him that gives Costco a very good name. Thank you Tony!

Love costco and I feel like this location is pretty organized. Gas: You can enter the gas station from whichever entrance you take. This is nice because other locations do not have this ability which causes a longer wait. There's also 4 rows at each station so the wait is not long Food court: Food court is outside with both a window to order from someone and a table of 4 automated screens. This is nice because if you know what you want you can just go up an order. Plenty of covered seating as well. Costco: The team here is really good. They know where things are and the self checkout line is fairly efficient. Only thing I would say is that there isn't a person to facilitate the self checkout line and when there is someone it's a lot faster.

Checked in at 10:15AM for an 11:00AM tire rotation appointment for my SUV . Attendant at the desk is uncaring and unprofessional. 2:00PM and vehicle wasn’t even touched yet. I asked the attendant at the desk how much longer do I have to wait and he said it will take at least 3 - 3 1/2 hours more in addition to being 3 hours late already. VERY POOR SERVICE.

The manager Bobby needs to be trained on his customer service skills. People in leadership positions shouldn't be so cold and uncaring with their customers. I came to return a large 75" TV within the alloted return window, and was turned away because we forgot to bring the tv stand that came in the box. Because the TV is so cumbersome, I politely requested permission to leave the TV behind the customer service counter, so we could skip loading/unloading a second time. I watched as the employee working returns asked Bobby for permission, he didn't even look up from his task and shook his head no before she even had a chance to explain the situation. I then asked to speak to him directly, when I extended a handshake and introduced myself, he rolled his eyes and begrudgingly shook my hand. Despite my shock at the obvious lack of courtesy and respect, I pleaded with him to make an exception to the corporate policy he was citing. I insisted that just a little bit of leeway would go a LONG way in helping the situation go faster and smoother, which was critical considering the dire time crunch I was in. We borrowed a vehicle to move the TV and were running out of time. He had zero empathy for our situation, and said one us had to stay behind to guard the item. I could see by the look of utter contempt on his face that nothing I could say would change his mind, so I gave up. I understand enforcing a policy outside of your control and "just doing your job" but that sheer lack of kindness is completely uncalled for. For a company that claims to uphold the customer experience above all else, I have to wonder how Costco trusts someone like that to talk to customers, let alone manage other people. I really hope he just had a bad day, because this the only time I've felt disrespected and dismissed by a Costco employee.
