I’ve had a series of terrible experiences at this Firestone location, and the last visit was the final straw.
A while back, they damaged one of my wheels during an alignment and never took responsibility for it. Instead, they insisted the issue was my tires and convinced me to buy a whole new set. After the new tires didn’t solve the issue, I discovered the actual problem was the damaged wheel — which they had caused.
To make things worse, when I tried to use the tire warranty, they refused to honor it. They claimed I hadn’t done the required alignments every six months — something they never told me about at the time of purchase. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and like they were more focused on selling tires than providing real service.
But what pushed me over the edge was a recent visit for a simple flat repair. They couldn’t even locate the nail — and instead of taking the time to thoroughly inspect the tire, they immediately tried to sell me another set. When I insisted there was a nail, they made me walk into the shop and point it out myself — as if I was lying or wasting their time. Sure enough, the nail was right there, exactly where I said it was. Their response? “Oops, didn’t see it.” No apology, just excuses.
At this point, I’ve lost all trust in this shop. Between the damage they caused, the upselling, the dishonesty around warranties, and the complete lack of accountability, I can confidently say I won’t be returning. If you value honest, competent service, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

From the initial phone call, inquiry and quote to the completion of service, the staff at this firestone location was extremely efficient and professional. When choosing a facility to work on your vehicle, it's essential that they understand the importance of promptness, communication and knowledge of the issue. This service team delivered on all of them with flying colors. Just ask for Julio.

Excellent Service and Experience!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to give a big shout-out to Julio and his team at the Firestone in Chula Vista.
My wife’s car recently needed a brake job, and we decided to bring it here based on some positive word-of-mouth. From the moment we walked in, Julio greeted us with a smile and took the time to clearly explain what the process would look like. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and wants them to feel comfortable and informed.
The techs did a fantastic job — the work was done efficiently, and they kept us updated every step of the way. When we picked up the car, Julio even walked us through the work they completed and made sure we were happy with everything.
In a world where good customer service can be hard to come by, this team really stands out. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of our vehicles here again or to recommend them to friends and family.

Great job and excellent customer service.
Saturday afternoon, i called Firestone for car alignment and while i was talking to the manager i told him the reason why i needed it. My car was vibrating and the steering wheel was shaking when i applied the brake at the highway speed. He told me that it doesn’t sound alignment is needed, but he said to bring the car over and they will do a check and inspection for just $9.99. In the end, they worked on my car and figured out what was the problem then gave me a quote. They said the problem was my front wheel hub assy. They gave me the price for the parts and labor and gave me a 15% discount for the July 4th special and they even installed 2 new front wheel rotor brake for free. You guys are awesome ?, and when i picked up my 4runner the customer service personnel and the manager were nice and helpful and explained to me all the recommendations on my receipt. Firestone personnel from manager front desk and mechanics are all awesome and handsome and they did a great job on my 4runner now im enjoying driving my 4 runner again Great job guys

This location was blatantly racist.
When i went in the person wouldn’t acknowledge me and continued to laugh and make jokes with the staff after he saw me standing waiting for help.
When i did speak up, he was angry and like all other Firestone locations refused to give me service with an attitude for no reason.
Apparently they didn’t have a spot open that day even though i was the only one who need help with my tire. And the location was empty.
