The room smelled so bad and the floor was dirty. Its hard to sleep with that bad smell This is the worst hotel I ever stayed. Don't be deceived with the higher star review this place is not worth staying. I’ll give it below negative to zero star.

Excellent service, everything very clean, very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff was very friendly. It was a very good three days.

First time staying at Holiday Inn since the Late/Early 2000's. Holiday Inn has definitely turned itself around from the complimentary breakfast, to how clean the rooms are. Amenities in the room have definitely come a long way with the microwave, fridge and bedding. The pillows and bedding are high quality and very cool for hot nights. Joe and Tiffany along with the morning staff are amazing I highly recommend everyone come check out The Holiday Inn off E st in Chula Vista CA.

I had a great experience at this location. The gentlemen at the front desk is so helpful and friendly and pleasant. I called a couple times because I left my stuff after checking out and he facilitated mailing it back to me. I was here for a work trip and enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Queen suite with double bed and sofa bed was perfect for our little family. Price was decent, parking and breakfast included, it was one of the better hotel breakfasts we've had (we've had many). Service was great, rooms were stocked and comfy.
Cons: Not the best view. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy if you're trying to walk nearby to grab food, and there were a lot of children running around ( but that's not the hotels fault just the parents)

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in San Diego. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, a tidy breakfast area, and excellent pool and spa facilities. The staff was welcoming and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The rooms were spacious, featuring large, comfortable beds, making them ideal for a family with two kids. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel for a family-friendly stay.

This was a very clean place to stay and the breakfast was excellent. The only negative is it wasn't in the best part of town. The staff was wonderful and very considerate. It had a refrigerator and a microwave which I always require and they even asked without me requesting the top floor. First time this has happened.
