Fantastic service. These folks were so well organized, friendly and efficient. The seamless transition between intake, service and check out facilitated by closed-loop communication among the staff was top tier professionalism at its finest. This was my first visit, and will definitely be back.

It is safe to say that Jiffy Lube has the market cornered. There are studies out there detailing with data just how predatory their general business model is. From the management level demanding more and more of their employees, to corporate setting rigid guidelines and sales quotas.
This all leads to toxicity in the workplace culture. Let me elaborate.
I just drove to California from Florida. I'm in a new place and do not want to change my own oil, as I always do.
Why do I change my own oil?
Because last time I went to Jiffy Lube years ago, they tried to sell me an extra quart of oil, although I asked for the 5 quart special on sale. They may have thought I was a cheapskate, so they replaced my oil filter with one for a four cylinder engine.
I kid you not.
Side note: The Hayne's Manual recommends my model vehicle get 5 quarts of oil as a minimum, and I explained that notion with the Jiffy Lube oil change tech at that time. He had already dropped an extra quart of oil, and when I wouldn't pay the extra $10 for the extra quart, they proceeded to install the tiny oil filter.
That oil change only lasted about 1,000 miles before my engine started crying.
So, today, I first went to Walmart to buy the correct oil filter, and then I went to Jiffy Lube with the correct oil filter. Well, wouldn't you know it? I lost my wallet at Walmart. I parked my car in the Jiffy Lube parking space and proceeded to look for my wallet. I was at Jiffy Lube for an hour while I called my banks and reported my cards lost, and I needed the restroom. So I walked into said establishment to ask for the bathroom.
The "oil change tech" looked at me up and down, and once I passed his sniff test, he just nosed me towards his restroom.
I get it, man. These homeless people are everywhere. They have human needs, such as having to go to the bathroom, eating, and such. It's despicable. How dare they? ?
Why hire people who think they're better than others just because they're working? Or is that your corporate mindset as a whole?
It's a rhetorical question. I don't care why.
I'm never, ever going to a Jiffy Lube again in my life.
Screw me over once, shame on you. Screw me over twice, shame on me. .

The techs at jiffy lube are fast and professional, I came in for oil change and was out in minutes!!!

Jiffy Lube in Chula Vista did a great job. I arrived and they were ready to perform. The pricing was a little bit above average but so is their service. I was in a hurry and they did their best to get me in and out under 30 minutes. I would have given five stars but they are unable to do tire rotations and some other items that I will have to go to one of my other vendors for. But for anyone needing an oil change they did a great job.

Horrible misrepresentation of service fees and overcharges for a simple oil change on my vehicle. There was no initial quote given for the service. I do not recommend this place for service nor will I return.
