Kumeyaay Park in Chula Vista is a very spacious park with plenty of open space for kids to run around. It features nice playground equipment with slides, a sandpit, and climbing activities, plus baseball/softball fields, big fields for soccer and volleyball, and lots of walking areas. There are picnic tables and benches, though some areas have limited tables, and clean public bathrooms. The park offers ample parking in the middle and side, and its lighting at night is amazingly bright. It is a perfect park for family outings, sports, and birthday parties year round, with plenty of shady trees, but be prepared with a jacket or blanket because it gets very windy and cold.
I often take my dog here in the mornings. It is quiet and shady. There are nice, clean bathrooms. + Picnic tables, playground, ball fields, and plenty of walking areas.

We had a great time at Kumeyaay Park in Chula Vista! Nice playground with slides, a sandpit, and climbing activities. Big fields for baseball, picnics, playing with dogs, and more. Lots of tables and benches that you can host a birthday party at. Very clean, there is a public restroom that is also clean. Recommend!
