Be careful because the website does not show the correct prices....was not aware of the actual increased price until it was time to pay, and they did not honor the advertised website price. Was not impressed with the salon environment or hair techniques (which was a bit rough) and overall somewhat uncomfortable salon environment. There are much better salons and a better experience available with better prices elsewhere.Service: Haircut

If I could give ten stars I would! Walked in for the first time Saturday with a picture on my phone. Rarely can a stylist match that because of the texture of my hair. Not only did she match it it but it's better than I expected. Heading back in in a few more days to get some low lights. Glad I made the appointment. Thank you Rebecca!

The staff was kind of rude if you didn't reply in Spanish, the hair stylist dropped her brush and straightener on me like 10 times, I asked for my hair a certain way and I was willing to change it up, but she just did what she wanted. The bump is lopsided and the curls are messy and somehow pointed to the back.... I paid, but I would never come back. Older lady named Rebecca did hair and yes, I had asked her twice to fix it and she just made it worse. 0/10 !

Virginia did excellent job. I came with my daughter, and we love our new hair. My daughter had a color correction and I did balayage. Hair looks amazing, we are getting so many compliments. I strongly recommend this place and Virginia. Definitely coming back.

Staff was very professional and friendly. I have very curly hair and Virginia did an amazing job on my hair. She was very honest about how my hair would look after cutting it and gave me very informative advice on the hair related questions I had.

Unimpressed. Went for a blowout. We were seen 30 mins late for our appt - not offered so much as a sip of water while waiting. Hair was flat and lost all its curl within an hour of walking out. Save your money. Would not recommend.

Honestly, if I could give 0 stars I would. My experience happened May 31, 2022 and I now have the time to explain the situation. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to get a haircut and bleach his hair so I called about 10 places before choosing Lisse Xpress. Every place had similar prices but Lisse Xpress was the most affordable I found. Mind you, I asked every single place what the prices for each service that we wanted were. Lisse express informed me that for a Women's haircut it was $55, Men's haircut was $25 and for the bleaching for my boyfriend it would be $55. I do not have any prior bleaching experience so I did not know if this price was reasonable but I figured since my boyfriend has extremely short hair, then it was probably normal. I went in for my appointment with Rebecca at 1 pm and wasn't greeted or acknowledged until 1:20 pm when she asked if we had an appointment. We finally began the services and she took around 3-4 hours to complete everything. Once we were done and were ready to pay, I already knew the prices in mind so I had a number in mind that I thought I would be paying. (I also paid a $60 deposit which the women on the phone explained that $20 would be going towards each service so the two haircuts and bleaching). That's when Rebecca told me our total was $300 and I was in shock. I respectfully explained each of the numbers I was told on the phone and she told me the bleach was $220 not $55. She also proceeded to tell me that I made a mistake and didn't understand the woman on the phone and there was NO way that bleaching was $55. I said maybe her woman made a mistake because I was on speaker with my boyfriend when we called each salon and I wrote down each price of each salon on a set of notes. She proceeded to call the woman I made the appointment with on the phone and the woman said that she would NEVER tell me that price and that if she should call security to remove me. This was so disrespectful because I explained multiple times I wanted to pay for the service but I needed to reason with her because I did not bring that much money to the appointment since I wasn't told that would be the price. Rebecca also questioned me and said why would I ever think that a $60 deposit would go towards a $55 bleaching which is when I explained that it was $20 for each (as the woman said on the phone). Which again shows the disorganization between the employees. How was it not communicated that I put a $60 deposit in which $20 would go towards each service? On top of all of this, Rebecca's attitude towards me was rude and told me how could I even think that a bleaching was so cheap? She made me feel shamed because I didn't know the prices of bleach. I explained the situation and told her that I wasn't familiar with prices which is why I called in the first place. My mom and best friend also get bleach often with long hair and have never paid anywhere near that price. Rebecca said that bleaching at Lisse Xpress STARTS at $170 which was also never mentioned on the phone. There was obvious there was a miss communication but the lack of understanding and trying to help the situation was the issue. Rebecca's attitude was completely rude and disrespectful to the point where my brother and boyfriend had to step in and tell her to calm down with the attitude because we weren't being rude we were trying to talk with her. On top of this whole experience, Lisse Xpress has a website online where they list their prices. For each service I received, the prices were all cheaper online. So why was I being charged more? We asked this and Rebecca's answer was that the website was old and didn't have updated prices. However, this is not the customers problem, this is false advertising. Not only this but we asked why they didn't have a board listing prices when you walk into the salon to avoid this problem. She proceeded to say that they did but they just do not put it out for customers to see. These two items could help avoid these types of situat

Barbaric and dishonest! My mom came here to get her hair done before my graduation and was quoted $45 on the phone but was charged over $65! Her hair stylist was very brutal and get on pulling her hair and spraying her in the face! The hair looked good but we won't be returning.

This place is Horrible they go on Groupon however, once customer buys Groupon Paola and Rebeka Are Deny appointments to anyone with a Groupon bought for Lisse Xpress , if you call to schedule they tell you they Do have appointment available but as soon as you mention you have a Groupon all they say is “ we don’t have appointments “ when you confront them why they just told you they did have openings they pause and say “ I’m sorry Not for Groupon “ Then why do they sell on Groupon????

Brought my daughter (she's 10) for a cut here. Website said they had a good price for kids so decided to give it a try. The woman worked long and diligently on a haircut we didn't ask for. Daughter didn't like it but we figured that maybe with a differently styling it would be better. When we went to pay she charged me twice what was expected. I inquired and was told that was for children and she was not a child. I told her she was 10. She backpedaled and said it was a "special child's haircut. Like a trim". There is nothing that expressly states "trim only". I will not be going back. Website was misleading. And nothing about this experience was positive enough for me to give this salon another chance.

Ok so don't get the Groupon deal like I did for a cut and style because I was led to a lady who was somewhat rude. I didn't even bother getting her name because she annoyed me immediately when she asked abruptly asked if I spoke Spanish...I do and should've said no. That question from people I don't know honestly gets super annoying for me. Strike 1 for her. Strike 2 was when she judged my hair by complaining it was too greasy and that I should go see a dermatologist. Hmm...since when is a hair stylist supposed to give medical advice?? YES I've known this most of my life so hearing it from a stranger actually really sucked. Believe me I wanted to shout a good f*** you, lady, but didn't because I was getting tired of my hair being a big mess and needed the cut. Final strike was when she was very rough while styling my hair and kept pulling it while combing and styling. Like damn, lady, not only have I just been insulted by you the first day I decided to take a damn professional cut after being in quarantine for so many months but now you're adding to it by yanking my hair?? I'm glad the actual cut ended up being good, but it quickly flattened the minute I got home even though she had styled it with a curling iron like I had hoped because of the style I requested. Not ever coming here again. Also: the other stylists should be aware of how they're presenting themselves. The whole time I was there the other stylists were super loud and made me wait an additional 20 mins (mind you I did have an appointment and arrived right on time) before that lady started working with me.

If you appreciate timeliness and wish for people to respect your time- then this isn't the place for you. I was hoping for an appointment over the weekend but when they said they were booked I completely understood. However, they mentioned they had availability for an appointment today at noon! I decided to book the appointment and rushed over there on this busy Friday afternoon. When I arrived they asked for me to take a seat which was fine...but after 15min I finally decided to ask some questions. My appointment was at noon and when I asked at around 12:20 how much longer it would take, they had NO answers for me, I asked again and they said maybe 10 minutes... it was very unprofessional, not client friendly and very much lacked customer service. I will not go again and I do NOT recommend this place!

I started going back to Lisse and all I ask for is a blowout and to curl my hair. It usually takes about 30 minutes. I tried to make an appointment for the same day and nothing was available. I get a call about 10 minute later saying that there was a last minute cancelation and so I got ready and headed out there. Make it on time. Walked in and the lady at the front desk is great. Smiles and very polite. But's they never ever have water to serve guests and it really sucks. Especially with this heat. And also... they can not use COVID as an excuse. Water is hydrating and I just don't get it. I am crazy busy with my work and as I made it on time... I had to wait for 30 min. I could have sent a few client emails. Done something. It just bugs me that they do not appreciate clients times. I am crazy busy and it bugs me a lot. Anyways, hair was great but just don't like my time wasted.
