I was an employee at this store for roughly 4 months. Mariela was very passive aggressive with me and very strict on the dress code. It was really hard for me to go into work without her saying something about my appearance. I understood if it was the dress code, however even when it was under the dress code she would pressure me to purchase the clothing from the store. She would also rush me constantly and just was not a friendly manager at all. I really hated working here and dreaded my shifts. There was always new associates coming in and out of the store and there’s a good reason why. However the assistant managers were very nice.

Went there last Sunday to return and exchange some clothes I bought online. I got there 10 minutes before they closed only one other customer in the store. When I got to the register and they saw that they would have to return and order my items I was told "WE ONLY HAVE 1 REGISTER OPENED AND WE ARE CLOSED CAN YOU COME BACK ANOTHER DAY!!" Are you kidding me?!? I was in disbelief. I know that they are tired and wanting to go home and there were 2 salesperson. I am a paying customer and I HAVE TO RETURN?!?! Once I started complaining the one in charge said to the other one just do it and some not to pleasant things in Spanish. I just looked at her and responded in Spanish. Not much was said afterwards and I did send an email to corporate. So lesson learned THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING and I will not return to this store!

The store manager is very rude to her employees. I’m surprised they haven’t contacted HR. I’ve been coming to this store for years, Mariela was always super nice and had great customer service, however over the years I’ve noticed how her attitude with her employees has been dramatically changing.

I love the clothes here... I have never really returned anything until last week. I did not like how this one dress fit so I returned it an purchased another dress that I fell in love with. Love my new dress. But I have yet to see the money back into my account from the previous dress. It was not an exchange so I asked the young lady how long it takes to get the money refunded and she first said an hour. I waited the hour and nothing. I went back and told her it was still not refunded so she asked the manager. Manager told me it takes two days to get your money refunded. So here we are day three and still no refund. I think it's a bad business practice to not refund your money quickly. Other places do it no problem. So I don't know why not a store like this? Not happy!

Horrible service or lack of any! I can't believe I was there for 43 minutes and the 2 salespersons did not approach or welcome me once. I was looking around with my two sons and gathering clothes to try on. They were not busy. At the most, there were 2 other customers looking around. At one point, I had 2 shorts, 1 skirt, 2 shirts, and 4 pairs of jeans in my hand and neither of them asked me if I wanted to set things down in a fitting room. I came to this location because I purchased items online and picked them up "in the store" as opposed to delivery. Next time, I will take my business elsewhere and pick up at the fashion valley location. While browsing, they had a lengthy discussion about taking their old clothes to a 2nd hand store and how the store didn't take anything and the other salesperson recommended she take it to Plato's closet. That is how close I was to them and still was given no service, no attention. I hope the Store Manager reads this and understands that customers come not just for the product, but for outstanding service.

Best Loft in town. It's larger (or maybe just wider) than the other Lofts in town. Easy to navigate, the staff keeps it clean and well organized. Many of the ladies who work there have been there for a long time, which reflects well on management. Clothes are on trend without being too trendy, and are made generously so you can size down oftentimes. There also seems to be something for women of any age. They also have great sales and promotions on a regular basis. I've shopped at Loft Horton Plaza and Fashion Valley and neither are as nice or have the great service as the Otay Ranch location. I highly recommend!

I stopped in here 5 minutes before the store closed (don't you hate people like that!) because they had sale signs and I had birthday money. I rushed through the clothes and tried a bunch of stuff on. The two young ladies were so patient and acted like it didn't bother them that it was closing time. I had to try another pair of pants on and they were so patient!!!! Great customer service skills! I was shocked that the pants fit!!! I never find pants that fit on the first try. And the trouser pants were long! It's so hard to find pants that have length when you're 5'7"! It was my first time here, but surely not my last!
