Front staff: not at all suited for customer service. They are extremely rude and carry around this "that's not my job" demeanor. The wait times: Absurd and completely unacceptable. 1-3 hours wait time while also having been scheduled is completely disrespectful to the patients. Our time is valuable and no one should have to clear their schedule to sit around waiting all day. Get this, the longest wait time so far was EIGHT hours. That's an entire shift of work. Dr. Lucy Polak: Dr. Polak is an unstable piece of work. People go to doctors with their health concerns looking for answers or treatments. She makes you feel invalidated and genuinely concerned about receiving their care from HER because she's so forgetful. I've heard her treat other patients SO disrespectfully and loudly that all the staff and other patients can hear. It's humiliating. Her forgetfulness is cause for concern. SHE will prescribe a medication and then chew you out and ask you whyyyy you're taking it when she's the one who put you on it. You give her information and a few moments later she will ask you to divulge said information again! I think it's time to hang up the coat, because it's not safe for her to keep practicing on her patients.

I have had multiple experiences where it feels like it’s almost impossible to get a hold of a doctor. Dr. Polak has always been rude as can be, Doctor Rabago simply does not care to respond to people nor care about their health. Going to this place for primary care is certainly going to stress you out.

If I could give this place a zero start I would. My dad started seeing Dr. Polak at least once or twice a month and always have an appointment but they manage to still wait for 4 hours each time. She's rude, condescending and always give him a hard time about writing a doctors note. She tells him to repeatedly to come back in a week than he does and she says why are you back. She can't remember what she tells her patients. She has him why he's on a certain medication when she, herself prescribes them to him. She definitely doesn't sounds like she safe herself to be treating patients if she can't remember anything.

I saw Dr.Rogers in the beginning of the year, such a great staff I could not be more satisfied with the customer service, both assistants Leslie and Alejandra were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this endocrinologist even though her appointments are booked 3 months in advanced.

I saw Dr Megan Rogers needing a prescription for a diabetic glucose monitor and medications three weeks ago. Her staff put dangerously incorrect information in my chart, the Dr seemed rushed. The prescriptions were never put in the TriCare system. I waited a week thinking there was a glitch. Called her office, left three messages over a week with no response. When they finally answered the phone and I let them know nothing was in the system the irritation in the girls voice could not have been more plain, I was told they had received my messages, the prescriptions HAD been put in and when the doctor got to the messages I would get a call back. Waited another week. My calls went straight to voicemail, twice they picked up and immediately hung up when they finally messed up and answered the phone I was told I had NOT been trying to reach their office clearly calling me a liar in other words, chewed out and told again the dr would contact me, adding if she didn't she OBVIOUSLY hadn't gotten around to my messages. All this involved me waiting through phone systems multiple times trying to see if my insurance had gotten anything from Dr Rogers, they had not. As a patient I was not aware TriCare no longer accepts paper prescription so I called the office and left the message I would be coming in the next day to just pick them up in paper form and I would hand carry them myself wherever they needed to go. The drs office knew the paper scripts wouldn't be accepted and never said anything, instead sending me with something they knew could not be filled and would take yet another day of me running around to get the medical equipment I need. So here I am almost a month later with the choice of paying out of pocket several hundred dollars (which is not truly an option because I am a retiree on a very fixed very limited income, something I actually discussed with the dr) or just doing without it, which would be life threatening. To be clear, it's entirely possible Dr Rogers was never told there's an issue, I wouldn't know. If she is aware and just doesn't care about a patient so is ignoring her messages in my opinion that borders on malpractice. If her rude incompetent office staff is not doing their job and it damages patient health in my opinion that borders on criminal negligence. I cannot say strongly enough if my worst enemy needed a dr I'd encourage them to look somewhere, anywhere else.

This time around I’m here with my son who had an appointment at 330 bcuz we were told to come in before 4pm and he was not seen until after 530pm…. SMDH!!! How do you make some one what that long with a broken collar bone who just needed a referral!

Stay far away from this place. I was trying to change to My Chula Vista Doctors clinic in Chula Vista. I was originally a Sharp Rees-Stealy Sorrento Mesa patient and loved their service, care, and just overall organization. It was a blessing to find them. My doctor was also great. The office building where I work was within walking distance from Sharp Rees-Stealy Sorrento Mesa. When COVID hit, I started to work from home. I live in Otay Ranch, Chula Vista, so it made sense to try to find a doctor that was closer to me and covered by my insurance. I found Chula Vista Doctors and I at first wanted to see Dr. Simona "Ella" Alb but ended up with an appointment with Dr.Steven Santoyo, M.D. because he had an earlier slot open. They asked me to get there 30 minutes ahead, which I did, and filled out their new patient forms. My appointment was at 1 pm. After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour and watching everyone call in except for me, I got up to get my Copay returned. At first, they told me that the person that took my copay would need to return it to me and she was not there. So I told them no problem, I will just call my credit card company and have them do a chargeback. They then immediately went to go talk to someone else to give me back my money. What I find hilarious is there were three girls at that desk. Laughing, messing around, and never checking on the patients waiting or following up to find out why it was taking so long for them to be seen.At Sharp Rees-Stealy Sorrento Mesa, they are constantly checking on you, and if your appointment is just a bit late; they update you on why and how much longer it will be. Amazing customer service. This place is a joke. In what alternate universe, do these folks figure an hour and a half or a three-hour wait as others complain about here is acceptable? Not only is it rude to your patient, and an utter lack of care, but it is also unprofessional and a disgrace to the industry they serve. Your clinic would do the community a better service if it closed down and left Chula Vista. From now on, I will happily make my 30-minute drive to Sharp Rees-Stealy Sorrento Mesa to feel valued and cared for, as all patients should. Boys and girls, you have some of the worse customer services I experienced in years. It's time to mature or go get some business training to learn about customer service.
