By far some of the best pho I have had in San Diego. Everything about this place is amazing from the pho to the chicken wings, to the fish. Definitely a family owned gem in the middle of suburban sprawl. If you live in Eastlake, you need to eat here!

I've had the Bun Bo Hue and the Satay Pho several times, and it's always been great. I usually get around 8 and it's the perfect level of spicy for me. The regular pho is also great, but I really like the special offerings here.

Love their broken rice and crispy sole fish. Just sad that they are not open everyday like before. Seems like whenever I'm in town it's closed. I just need to plan better but otherwise the food is amazing.

I ordered Bun Bo Hue, and it was delicious. There was a spice level available from 1-10. The amount of beef was a lot more than other pho restaurants I've been to before. However it has only slices of beef, and not a lot of beef balls or tendons. I only had 2 quarter size beef balls and 2 small pieces of tendons. It was by no means bad, since most people would like the well done steak, but there was not much in beef balls. There are only those three beef ingredients, whereas some other places offer the shank and knuckle. Personal bias, but this restaurant delivered what I wanted. Thank you.

At first glance I thought that I hit the jackpot with Pho Convoy Noodle House. The menu had some authentic listings and I saw they had my favorite tri-colored dessert drink. The prices weren't too high for the neighborhood and I will never turn down a good bowl of pho. However from the moment I stepped through the front door the whole experience went downhill from there. The wait staff were all sitting eating their lunch instead of tending to me, a customer who had just walked in the front door and was standing there waiting to be sat down for what seemed like an eternity. Finally a young girl pops out from the kitchen, her head down, fiddling with something behind the counter. One of the ladies who was eating her lunch waved at the young girl to attend to me.I sit. I review my menu and after 15 or so minutes they came and took my order. Mind you, it was a little after lunch hour and the place was almost empty. When the food came, everything looked great but the flavors were all off. The portion size was decent but the pho broth had none of the aromatic flavors you would expect from this iconic Vietnamese staple. I finished my food and started on my tri-color dessert drink. While the appearance of the dessert was spot on, they used half and half instead of coconut milk which is kind of like a tiramisu with no coffee or a German chocolate cake without the coconut-pecan frostingWhat a huge let down across the board. As my friend put it " what a waste of calories!" As a meal, it was passable. I got fed. I got some carbohydrates and some proteins. And I didn't get sick afterwards. But I was far from being satisfied. Save yourself the disappointment and find pho elsewhere.

Came here for convenience. Pho place close to home. When we're too lazy to drive north for pho, we usually go to another spot in the area but decided to give this place a shot again. There's a private parking lot. Lots of seating inside. We didn't have to wait. Service was good. Food cans out in a timely manner. Food quality could be better. I think we got the special combo pho- broth was ok. Also got chicken wings- not sure what was up with all the onions on it. My husband got a banh mi- again sorry forgot which one as I'm late in posting this. The bang mi was served deconstructed. The bread was really good, appeared fresh and soft in inside. I was disappointed because they only put butter on the bread. Where was the mayo? I had to ask for it and they didn't have any. So I waited until I got home and put the banh mi together myself along w/ mayo and sriracha. They also offer boba drink. My daughter got the mango boba.

The pho at Pho Convoy Noodle House is delicious, and while it may not be the best I've ever had, it is still very good. In addition to pho, they offer a range of other Vietnamese dishes such as crispy egg rolls, banh mi sandwiches, and rice plates.I ordered a Large #1 combo pho and it was quite tasty. The broth was rich and savory, with a nice balance of spices and flavors. The portion sizes are decent and you'll definitely leave feeling like you've gotten your money's worth. There were good amounts of meats and noodles. The place is not the cleanest or newest but it certainly has its own unique charm. Overall while it's not the kind of pho that will make you want to drop everything and move to Vietnam, Pho Convoy Noodle House is a pretty good lunch spot. You can't go wrong giving this restaurant a try.
