ULTIMATE IN EXPERTISE AND INTEGRITY
We have used Precision Motors three times in the past three months and will continue to use ONLY Precision Motors for all of our vehicle maintenance requirements. Our only regret is that we did not find Hector and his phenomenal team years ago when our vehicles were new.
As stated in previous reviews, Hector is without a doubt the most professional and honest mechanic I have met in over 55 years of driving.
Hector’s expertise and integrity combined with his ability to explain the reasons various maintenance actions are required, both verbally and with photos of your car, provides a thorough understanding not only of vehicle issues, but Hector’s thoughtful and logical “it must make sense” approach and thought process.
Price-points are very reasonable, but even more important, we don’t have words strong enough to convey how much trust and confidence we have in Hector and by extension his entire team. From Tara and Greg in the office, to Hector and his team in the maintenance bays, we can’t emphasize strongly enough what absolute pleasurable experiences we have had at Precision Motors.

INTEGRITY, TRUSTWORTHINESS, HONESTY, and PHENOMINAL WORKMANSHIP are hallmarks of Hector and Precision Motors. As previously noted, Hector is without a doubt the most professional and honest mechanic I have met in over 55 years of driving. His ability to explain the complicated computer-driven inner workings of today's engines and related systems in layman's terms is extraordinary and remarkable. I had total confidence in him within minutes of meeting him. Hector is continuously and totally focused on fixing issues and providing perfectly executed maintenance, not how much money he will be able to make. Hector's expertise is apparent in every facet of auto maintenance and his analytical approach in combination with his sincere, candid, and forthright approach provides not only assurance that he will complete the desired work on your vehicle in a timely manner, but that he also runs a caring, trustworthy, and ultra-professional car repair business, and instills those qualities in all those who work for him. I have counted on Hector multiple times in recent months and will definitely continue to count on ONLY Hector for any future maintenance requirements on my vehicles. Hector is without a doubt the most professional and honest mechanic I have met in over 55 years. His ability to explain the complicated computer-driven inner workings of today's engines in layman's terms was phenomenal. I had total confidence in him within minutes of meeting him. His first recommendation to fix my issue did not include bringing my vehicle to him. i.e....unlike a local car dealership, Hector was totally focused on fixing my problem, not how much he would be able to charge me. Hector's expertise was ultimately needed to solve my issue, but he did it at a mere fraction of the cost compared to what a local dealer had quoted. The issue on my car was self-induced by lack of preventive maintenance, but Hector's expertise and analytical approach made this lesson-learned pricey enough not to forget maintenance in the future, but a heck of a lot less expensive than posed by the dealership. Hector's sincere, candid, and forthright approach provided not only assurance that he runs a caring, trustworthy, and ultra-professional car repair business, but that he instills those qualities in all those who work for him. I will definitely count on Hector for any future maintenance requirements on my vehicles. THANK YOU, Hector...thank you very much. NICELY DONE and very much appreciated.

This was my first visit to Precision Motors, and I was helped by Hector, the shop’s manager. I brought my Honda Civic in for a brake inspection (the odometer reads just over 110,000 miles). Hector checked the vehicle right away and walked me through his assessment.
He showed me that the brake pads still have plenty of life left, so no replacement was needed. In fact, Hector told me the car is in excellent condition overall. The only issue he found was a leak in the rear shocks, which he recommended replacing. I agreed, and he had the new shocks installed within a couple of hours.
The entire experience was fast (in‑and‑out the same day), reasonably priced, and completely honest—Hector clearly explained what truly needed attention and what didn’t. I’ll definitely be returning to Precision Motors for future service.

CHEAPEST IN SAN DIEGO for SMOG. I called over 20 businesses in San Diego and this was the least expensive at $41 including Certificate as their regular price- with no scams, no fine print, no surprise fees and no coupons or groupons needed. They got me in same day without appointment. Ready in 15 minutes. Extremely professional, excellent customer service. They do car repairs too and will keep them in mind for that due to great smog experience.

We arrive in Hot and Sunny Chula Vista with no Air Conditioning. I know hot 🥵 is only how I feel coming from Canada. We needed to get the A/C fixed and only had a small window of time to get it done in. I googled looking for a shop and came across Precision Auto Service. Good reviews, easy to find, drove up and they got us right in, in less than 1 hour we were on the road with nice cool air blowing on us. The price was fair and they did give us a courtesy phone call letting us know our battery was very old and could fail. We had a spare battery with us so didn’t get it replaced but nice they were aware and on it.
The shop and yard are very clean, McDonalds was a short walk away where we enjoyed coffee while we waited, walked back and the service was complete. I would recommend this business and Hector for your automotive requirements and services.

Had an Issue with my Van while I was on a trip in San Diego. Hector and his team was very helpful and friendly. They fix it in the same day with oem quality parts. I would definitely come back.
