I recently placed an order with the bakery for a sheet cake for my daughter's birthday. I was in the area the night before her party to see if I can add something on the cake. When I got there and asked about my order, they couldn't find the ticket. They offered to leave a message for the person who took the order and I recommended to make a new ticket to make sure the cake would be ready for the party the next day. Unfortunately the day of I was not there to pick up the cake but I assumed my requests were honor especially since it was discovered the first cake order disappeared. When I finally saw the cake it was everything opposite of my requests. It was very upsetting and disappointing. Although everyone said the cake was delicious it really bummed me out that even though I was understanding and willing to work with the bakery I was still left with a disappointing experience.

We always find everything that we want in the store. Worker's are very helpful and courteous. Store is always clean and well stocked. Have been going to your store for many many years. Keep up the the great work. We will be back.

My review covers the produce dept only. My sister and I went shopping at Ralph's on 10/15. Martin works in the produce dept, and was extremely helpful and was able to answer all my questions. He treated me with the upmost respect. Due to his exemplary customer service and his knowledge of his dept, I will be returning to this location in the future.

Avoid this Ralphs store when it comes to pick up orders. I can understand when my order was not ready and I had to wait an extra hour to come and pick it up. To me that’s acceptable it happens. But when you are told your pick up order was given to someone else that’s unacceptable. It’s also unacceptable when you have a different date for a pick up order and you had no substitutions but, when you get home. Three of the items you ordered are completely wrong but they do not show up on the app as not available nor as a substitution. They charged me for the item I ordered and purposely gave me something else completely different in picture and name. The otay lakes Ralph’s is a lot better in terms of pick up orders, just a heads up.

If I'm being total honest, what grocery store isn't busy late at night. Especially if the store closes at 12am or 1am. My best suggestion is if your in a hurry or have last minute shopping don't go late at night. Best idea would be going early morning or when the first open. Overall the store has a great setup, some employee's have there moments. Best front end Manager is Jessica, she friendly and always providing excellent customer service. Prices can be a bit higher than usual however inflation has impact all grocery stores.

Worst costumer service eve for grocery store, 3 out 4 of the store’s associates where the prepared meals is and they answer is “ ask that person 3 times!!!!!!!! Really? You don’t know where the prepared items at . No help at all !!!!

After frequenting this ralphs for years i have never experienced unprofessionalism as i witnessed today. My aunt was simply asking the butcher if he had any other rib eyes in the back and he was short with her. But he had no problem greeting a customer he recognized and began to stop what he was doing to chat it up. My aunt stayed close by the meat section and waited around looking at the sales/signs and he said "HOLD ON, IM STILL MOVING" was that even necessary? Upon checking out my aunt brought it to the attention of a female cashier and she basically shrugged it off, dismissing her, proceeding to check out. I've been trying to get in contact with some type of manager to escalate this to and make aware however, the number i got has been ringing with no answer. Ultimately, bringing attention on here because this is poor customer service and no one should have to be talked down to like this. This happened today at 12pm!

I was just visiting family in Chula Vista so was not famaliar with this store. Produce was fresh, vibrant and delicious. Had everything I was looking for. Store was neat, organized and clean.

Great products, just used to Vons and stores are arranged different, like Vons set up better by product, Ralph's has: Asian, Latin foods and then another aisle for same products but American products. Its confusing

Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment that I received at your store. I visited your store to purchase some alcohol, but I was denied the purchase on the grounds of having a Mexican identification card issued in the United States. I was told that your alcohol policy did not allow the sale to anyone with non-US identification.I was extremely disappointed by this treatment, as it seemed to me that I was being discriminated against on the basis of my race. I am 34 years old, and I am a US citizen with a valid identification. I have never experienced such discrimination before, and I was shocked that it could happen in this day and age.When I asked to read your alcohol policy, I was told that it was not posted anywhere in the store, which only added to my frustration. I felt that I was being treated unfairly, and that my rights as a customer were being violated.I am writing to request that you take steps to ensure that this kind of discrimination does not happen again in your store. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a copy of your alcohol policy, and any other policies that might be relevant to your treatment of customers with non-US identification.I hope that you will take this matter seriously, and that you will take the necessary steps to ensure that your store is welcoming to all customers, regardless of their race or nationality.Sincerely,
