If i could give a zero rating I would. THis relates to the lack of communication between the corporate office and the local pharmacy at 740 Otay Lakes Road. My husband is a disabled VET and we have been trying to get back $150.00+ for medication that should not have been charged. Trying to get this money back despited repeated attempts with the corporate and local pharmacy have led no where. They simply don't care and can't get their act together to resolve this issue. What a horrible way to treat any customer, particularly a VET.

Recently the 2230 Otay Lakes Rd store closed (with no notice) and all prescriptions were transferred to the Vons Pharmacy WITHOUT any customer say in the matter (what’s up with that Riteaid!!)But, not ALL are transferred, some scheduled drugs can not be transferred electronically (again not informed!) Which has caused considerable stress and anxiety at lease on our part. I believe this pharmacy might be taking the brunt of this closure and is not handling it well…long holds, dismissive, a little uncaring and somewhat uninformed also. So in closing we probably will be taking our considerable business somewhere else…

I always liked Rite Aide no matter which one I am at it always brings sweet memories. I like the old fashion ice creams how they still serve you with a smile and kindness.

Cashiers and pharmacy folks are nice. But most times they are out of my meds or something or other. I moved away from that neighborhood and there aren’t any Rite Aids in my hood (National City, CA). What does Rite Aid have against have a store over this way anyway? The closest one to me is Bonita Rd or Euclid Ave (definitely avoid going there because of the loiterers asking for money).

Amazing store. Every single employee at this store is really nice, but special recognition to the closing shift duo of James and Marcos. They are always very welcoming and willing to help find what Im looking for. Sometimes they get super busy but are always pleasantly calm and dont get overwhelmed.

I love this store. Every single employee is amazing. They greet you when you walk in and ask what they can help you with. Always smiles and a great attitude. And even though this is a smaller than normal store, they are always stocked.

I was helped my Chris over the phone and he helped me get my medication ASAP. He was patient and very resourceful! The pharmacist Kathandra (sorry for misspelling the name) is very kind and explained to me how to properly take my medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach

same sentiments as what Cate said - there was only one worker in the store (James, who was very friendly and accomodating). if there is only one worker in the store, they better be paid well.James acknowledged that i was looking around for something and took the initiative to ask me what I was looking for and helped me. I was taken care of and valued and would hate to see this person being paid less than $20an hour. James, keep doing you - it's hard to come by kindness, especially when conporations treat us like tools.

You can see the overworked staff moving back and fourth and really prioritizing. I feel like I was in and out of pharmacy but only after having to check in and wait a bit. With how crazy things are now a days I appreciate how staff were forward about the busyness but still trying to take care of me. They were out of stock of a few over the counter items but directed me to the best places to check . Thank you for the work
