I've been disappointed by the management here lately. Specifically, rewards/coupons are not being applied to orders and after speaking to a manager about the issue, they are unwilling to help. On two separate occasions I have been told that a manager is either unavailable or the assistant manager is unable to honor coupons if they do not ring up in the system. My family spends hundreds of dollars here each month as it is our closest store. It's not about saving $1 on cereal, it's about the principle of being disregarded as a customer.

The store in itself is fine, the employees have crappy attitudes. It would be in Von's best interest to train their employees to be personable and for the love of God, Please find a non-customer facing job, Russell.

Today I was on my period and understandably had to go to the bathroom. Your employee Jim is an asshole and yells at you if you use the bathroom. Even the other customers I made wait were more understanding than a worker. I reported him and wish nothing but the worst for the old hag. Have fun working at vons for the rest of your miserable life Jim.

I had visited Tuesday night to get some vagi. Ice cream, baked chicken ,coleslaw, pasta , the server guy(sorry I don't remember name)from deli shop, cashier also very kind and fast, everything is perfect , thanks Vons, my neighbor branch, Eastlake , Chula Vista!

This Vons is less busy than some of their other locations. The bakery at all Vons locations has always had good quality. The deli is great also. We love their sushi sale Fridays. Once the manager helped me do a search for a product they used to carry, and then later called me personally to follow up whether it would be available or not. That was nice service. This store has also let us order a lot of cases of soda water (we made Italian sodas for 400+ people for a wedding). Great service.The prices could be high unless you shop their sales by signing up for their club card.This last visit we had the unfortunate experience of checking out and noticing some of the refrigerated food we were purchasing was expired. So check your dates before putting stuff in the cart. Or take the stuff to the front so it doesn't stay on the shelf. Apparently inventory doesn't always keep up with it all. If not for this, I would have given 4, maybe 5, stars.***Download their app and clip the deals you want for extra savings.

I am writing this review as I wait for someone to help me out in the meat department. This is not the first time that I’ve waited this long for someone to simply approach me and ask me if I needed help. A simple button would solve the issue in my opinion.

Overall, it's a good store was helpful. Staff but the Starbucks needs some TLC. Some items are not readily available for consumers that are available at most Starbucks. Ie: anything cold brew related.

Terrible. Never been through like what I went through today. With a customer service Rep. I approached her in the self pay. Just asked her a question if I could pay for a certain item there. This rep already had a bad attitude. Something went wrong on ringing up my sandwich. It showed double the price I called the rep and brought this to her attention. She automatically said, "well that's not her fault. And I responded,, I never said it was. I told her I only had one item to ring up. I just simply asked her to delete the transaction. And start over. But she just kept yelling, and escalating this situation out of control. It was very embarrassing. People were looking everywhere. I asked the rep to call her supervisor. Giselle came to me. She asked what happened. Giselle apologized. I simply just responded. Please just put my money back on my card. I didn't want the sandwich. I just wanted to leave. Giselle the manager was very nice. But I will never return to your store again. I just moved to Otay Ranch. And already experienced a bad unfortunate situation. You people need to really speak to your people, or manage them on Customer Service. And how to properly handle these kinds of situations.I will speak to your corporate office in this incident. And hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.Thank you. Margaret Hernsndez

Great customer service! Big shout-out to Noelia and Doug. I had made a mistake on an online order and they were more than helpful in answering my questions and resolving the issue to my complete satisfaction. They went above and beyond my expectations!
