This gym used to be good where you could get a decent workout in and be motivated by some of the people who came through because they were serious trainers or competitors. Now, it’s filled with a bunch of pervy old or fat guys (with some weird females intentionally charging them up, making weird noises) and people bringing their whole gym equipment just to park it at a machine. I don’t even mind the trying influencers because that’ll be any gym you go to nowadays anyway. Oh and if you go between 3pm-7pm, FORGET A TRAINING SESSION! It’s overcrowded and NOTHING is available. Just people and their stuff everywhere.I didn’t go to the gym for a little over one week and within that timeframe, the Wellbeing office is GONE! It’s abandoned. Now, a homeless person has set up shop. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!!!!The cafe is still serving decent stuff. The employees there could have a better attitude though… I don’t go as often because of it…This place went downhill fast. They went from an up and coming serious bodybuilding gym to any other overcrowded gym…The problems with this gym must be taken care of at management level but it seems like they don’t even care anymore either. Oh well. I continue to keep my membership because I was grandfathered into a cheaper monthly rate; otherwise, it wouldn’t be worth it.

Outfitted for all your gym going needs and desires for the most part. Productivity will depend HEAVILY on the time of day you go, and since they have mostly flexible hours this is a non issue HOWEVER, the only critiques I would have is the lighting in the photo booth not being adjustable, the cleanliness of the bathrooms (mens), and the serious lack of curling bars but that last one is just a personal preference. All in all, a 3.5out of 5. After 1 year it has become crowded which is a testament to their marketing. 2.5 out of 5 but that is more personal preference than anything staff or managemenrt could do....it's become more of a commercial glam gym. Not for me but very popular depending on who you ask ?

Came to visit this gym before signing up for a membership. It does have a great variety of equipment and located in such a convenient area. The reviews unfortunately are true about the music being loud and having cussing. I wish it would be low enough to hear our own music on our noise cancelling buds. It’s a deal breaker for my friends and I, but a great option if you don’t mind the noise :)

The Gym is located in downtown Chula Vista and has all the machines and equipments to cater to your type of training from free weights, squat racks, machines, treadmills, stair masters, air assault and recumbent bikes, and a section for functional training.Parking will be a challenge during busy times and the gym does get packed.A few suggestions to management: instill the common gym etiquette to members of allowing members to work in and share a station during busy times. Some members aren’t aware of this common courtesy. It should let members come in, work out, then go about their day instead of waiting around ruining the experience and workout schedule.

Crowded, meatheads everywhere with tripods. Feels more like a movie set than an actual gym. If you’re into recording yourself often, this is your gym.

I love this gym and the cafe and that’s why I’m giving a 5 star review. I just wish they would play music that doesn’t have cussing. I’m a Christian and I have to blast my headphones to block out all the cussing. If they played a clean playlist. This gym would be perfect!!! I believe the owner is a Christian also. Make that change ??

What an amazing gym to have in downtown Chula Vista. I have been coming here for about a week now and enjoy the workout here. The staff is very friendly and my favorite part about this gym is everyone that goes their wipes down the machine after being used for the next person. Definitely recommend if you are in the South Bay Area. They play variety of music as well while you workout unless you bring some headphones. Very chill gym and will be back again.

Overall, I'll say the gym is not that bad. I will complain about people having HUGE backpacks taking up space in the walk way causing a tripping hazard. The bags can go in the lockers. Also, the paper towel dispensers should be fixed.

Great customer service but the environment here was not it. I went in the summer when I was visiting San Diego & it was interesting to say the least. The gym itself didn’t have AC, majority of the people were in sandals, most of which were sweating, which made the gym smelly. All in all it was horrible. With that said, there is a lot of machines, so I recommend going when it’s less busy. Gym is on pricey side, I paid 60 for a weeks pass. I did have a good experience in TG San Diego, though. The other one seems to be their best one.

This is a gym for people who are serious about working out. It's not the average gym where people are talking or on their phones instead of using the weights or machines. Memberships are affordable cheaper than 24 hour fitness, they have legit trainers , supplements , meal prep food, and an entire recovery area.

Cool place to work out plenty of trainers if you need one. Serious body builders here, lots of equipment to use. The hours are convenient also. Having said all of the above, the music is so loud you can't hear your own music, or hold a conversation, it's messed up. I wish management would do something about it. I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Everything in the gym is good. Only thing is the attitude from one of the guys from the staff that work at night. One morning, he was doing a superset on two machines, on one he had his stuff, I asked around to see if someone had left them behind, and with the most unrespectful and rude tone he said that he had his things there because he was using it. Odd to have this attitude from someone who has to promote gym culture. Be careful with that!
