Good customer service, cashiers are usually very nice and they give my boy stickers at checkout which is cool. The store itself is clean most of the time. Cart wipes are ALWAYS available for use. Been going to this location for years, and I'll keep going back! Unlike the Grossmont location- they're not as friendly or helpful.

Since they don't have a page to review food... I'll use yelp. 3/5 stars Not enough green chile sauce and was very dry! Small amount of chicken but a lot of rice Tasted very peppery

The wifey loves Trader's Joe's, and I just like it. Ok, yeah, the parking isn't the greatest, but there's ways to deal with that. The quality of what they sell is great and the prices are very fair! I like that it's on the small side but hate that you can't do all of your grocery shopping here.

We make a weekly stop at Trader Joe's. They have an interesting variety of foods, and we find something new to try on most visits at decent prices.

First time shopping. I was in the area. I asked the young man about pot roast . I didn't get a pot roast that's for sure. I don't buy meat much. I trusted the meat department guy. FAILED. And their produce ?

I have been a long time Trader Joe's shopper since I live in Chicago 2009 so when I move to East Lake in 2014- I was happy found Trader Joe's East Lake. I recently moved to LaJolla be close to my work but I would still make the drive from LaJolla to Trader Joe's Eastlake every weekend.Today, I did my usual 45min drive to Trader Joe's in Eastlake but so disappointed with the new staff in the freezer section ( young, blond, short young lady) esp when I told her I found an open box of Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese. She is a new staff & obviously need training in Trader Joe's best customer service; because her response to me was rude, curt, nasty with attitude & uncalled for: "Its just an open box."I was surprised at her response for I have never received this rude, curt, obnoxious response from any Trader Joe's. And who wants to buy a product that is open esp food product.I informed the manager & hope they address this & give her training on customer service esp Trader Joe's flagship & proud themselves on excellent customer service. I am now thinking that it's not worth 1 hr drive from LaJolla to get this nasty, rude, unprofessional service I received today from Trader Joe's Eastlake, Sunday, Oct 22 from Trader Joe's Eastlake. Very disappointing. I will also tell my friends & family the rude, obnoxious treatment I received today- young, blond lady at the freezer section. The good thing is kudos to Elena at check out for excellent customer service. Trader Joe's Eastlake need more staff like you.LaJolla LaJolla LaJolla

In the fading light of day, a herd advances, firm and steadfast,As warriors on an ancient battlefield, their purpose cast. The horizon painted with the emblem of Trader Joe's beckons,A realm of sustenance, where valor and hunger intersections. The doors slide open, a gateway to a realm most profound,But in the icy aisles, the weak are quickly unbound. Amongst the frozen treasures, wolves stake their claim,Hunger in their eyes, in this grocery game of fame. Battles waged in corners, near dips and luscious spreads,Echoes of confrontations, where the valiant lay their heads.Yet, amidst this chaos, some heroes emerge unbowed,With baskets of victory, walking tall and proud. At the journey's end, at the cashier's line they stand,Wearied soldiers, waiting, cash or card in hand. From the epic clashes, to small talk they swiftly shift,Discussing weather, weekends, giving spirits a lift. In the realm of Trader Joe's, tales of valor won't fade,For each visit's an odyssey, of choices made and trades.Remember those fallen, in the aisles they've roamed,And honor the brave, with treasures brought home. "Where shopping isn't just a chore, it's an epic tale of lore!" To sum it all up, it's a show in there.

Can't say anything bad about it, it's clean, it feels organic, locally sourced despite being a chain. It's a upscale farmers market to me.

Love the fact that TJs has pretty much the same floor plan in all stores. First time here and I knew exactly where to go to get what I needed!

This afternoon, I purchased two bottles of avocado oil with some additional groceries. Walking through the parking lot, the handles on the paper bag broke and the bag dropped to the ground breaking both bottles. I needed the avocado oil and after cleaning up, I returned to the store to purchase two more bottles. Blake was the cashier and when I went to advise him to double bag because of my incident, he immediately comped the price of the avocado oil. I explained that the failure was my own and it wasn't necessary but he was insistent. This sort of customer service is, in my opinion, above and beyond what I experience in many other stores. I greatly appreciate the friendly, professional staff in this store and expect to be a life-long customer. Thank you, Blake and Trader Joe's for setting the bar!

This place I better than Boo-Vons. The environment is clean and the staff is helpful. I am never going back to my old grocery store where you are treated like a number. They just care about profits.

I frequent this location to buy flowers at least once a week. The other day on Thursday, last week July 20, I stopped by to buy a few grocery items and I complimented one of their employees, Michelle. She was wearing my favorite color pink. Then while conversing with her and the Cashier, Bri, I mentioned I buy flowers weekly for my Mom in the cemetery and recently I loss my grandchild. They told me to get flowers, I told them I will wait the next day. They offered me to get it now and free of charge. I can't believe the kindness I received that day. It was one of a kind and I am grateful to Bri and Michelle for making my sad day a better day. Thank you for the flowers and kind words of sympathy.

Let's get the worst out of the way... the parking here is terrible. And not just normal TJ parking lot terrible... like actually insane. This is not my normal Trader Joe's but we've moved so this is the closest one now, which is still a good 25 min away. I haven't loved this one because they often have different stock than our normal ones and are out of stuff and I just don't love change. Also, the employees have been like vaguely friendly vs normal TJ over the top friendly. However ... had the absolute pleasure ::eye roll:: of taking my 1.5 yr old grocery shopping with me the other day and of course she insisted on bringing her mini Target shopping cart. Which she proceeded to insist on filling with an open carton of strawberries which of course she knocked all over the floor... twice. Then laid on the floor and screamed until a new one appeared. The employees were super understanding and switched out our containers. Then she spilled her sample .. by the time I got to the trash with the cereal pieces I had collected from the floor, the sample employee already had a new sample waiting for us, like a TJ psychic. Tiny demon began to further meltdown with some super convenient floor laying and some very calming temper tantrum screaming and everyone was super nice and chill about it. They brought over stickers and lollipops and all the bribes. It was super nice. Has changed my view on this location!
