Worst post office ever. The minute you walk on you can tell the employees are going to rude. I went in to ask about a replacement key for my mailbox and ended up getting yelled at because I asked the postman to explain to me a second time what I needed to do. You previously went to the post office to get a replacement so I was trying to wrap my brain around what the new process was. I did not yell at him si I don't understand why he felt the need to yell at me and then say I needed to speak with a supervisor

A complete mess of a place.30 people waiting in line and only one person working. The Mexican lady is very respectful but you can’t have only one person working.

This location used to have plenty of mailboxes on the street. Now one mailbox remains and it’s not even open on weekends because it’s locked !! What do you have to do if you can’t come into the post office during business hours? Poor service is what I call it. Reducing the number of mailboxes not only reduces the number of people that can use their services, but also the number of people who can turn in the ballots during election times.

6 windows only 2 clerks working. Pick up window is always closed so you HAVE to wait in line, just for pick up. Line is out the door usually everyday.30-40 min wait unfortunately.

The people at the counter are very friendly but poorly managed lately there is a terrible service for deliveries the orders are always late they give you the paper that your product has already arrived and when they look for it they do not find it until 3 or 4 days later they deliver it to you ....appalling...

For a large city and zip code, they are polite, professional, seldom lose mail, and deliver on time. Opening past 5 would be nice, zip code 60540 in Illinois has done this for 20 years and has 4 kiosks, open until 7 pm on weeknights and on both Saturday and Sunday. Milwaukee had a 24 hour staffed post office near their airport for years with window clerks. So, why not a bit later? To use the kiosk after 6, you must have a key? Or drive to Bonita post office by 10 or Eastlake? The kiosk at 91910 is open until 6? So silly.

I have sent two packages recently to my daughter in Chula Vista, CA and she has yet to receive them. 1st one sent December 6th to be received by 8th. Still has not been delivered. The second on December 11th, to be received yesterday and still no packages received. She drove down to post office and they are not there. The worst part is they gave her note saying they would not deliver to 3rd floor. Then why are they holding on to our packages? This service is not acceptable!

they have lost more than 2 packages in what’s been of these 2 past months. I came in last week for a package that they lost and they said they would call me back and it’s nowhere to be found. Another time they disposed of my package because they couldn’t “hold” it for more than 10 days when I’ve had this P.O. Box for years and this was never an issue. A star is too much. I’m still waiting information about my missing package!

One of the most frustrating and irritating experiences at a post office.Trying to complete a change of address that requires in person verification of identity. Went in, and the first lady was pleasant but seemed like she'd never done it before. Low and behold she did it wrong, and said that she was unable to verify my identity.Went in second time, different lady had me fill out change of address paper form, showed my IDs and paperwork again, she said I was good. Went home, opened email, shows that it was still wrong and wasn't processed.Went back for third time on two days, and the male clerk the said he'd have supervisor help me. Was sent to end of counter to wait for supervisor. Still there waiting for about 30 minutes as they called over the PA system over and over again for supervisor to come help me.Supervisor comes out nonchalantly, no apologies for making me stand there for 30 minutes. She then tells me because my new address is in San Diego and not Chula Vista she can't help me. And that I'd have to drive to a different post office.Went to different post office, and they told me that she was lying, and she absolutely could have helped me. Absolutely disgusting that the supervisor would treat customers this way, and 100% needs to be removed from her job.

Avoid this post office for any issues that need a supervisor. Incompetent, rude and lazy. Time to clean this post office up. Look at the reviews, seems to be a culture of sub par service being taught here. Don't waste your time at this location when employees just can't be bothered doing their job and will make up excuses to get out of doing something they are capable of (per another post office in Downtown San Diego)

Incompetence. But that’s expected from a government agency.I get that these people have to do their job, but the reality is that their management can be better. In San Diego there are really good post office locations, save your time and go to another one

Bad attention, no desire to work, lazy to solve things and tremendously disorganized. Plus, they close on "holidays" without any notice. Without a doubt the worst option.
