Veterans Thrift Store operates across four large locations in San Diego, offering a wide variety of donated items that are in good condition. The stores feature a broad selection of furniture, appliances, clothes, and unique pieces, with new items arriving daily. Customers appreciate the good prices on name brands and the friendly, attentive staff, including managers who are understanding and flexible. The stores are organized but can be chaotic and dusty, requiring some effort to find specific items. Some customers suggest improvements like clearer pricing, sale color coding, and fitting rooms for clothes. Overall, Veterans Thrift Store is loved for its vast inventory, good deals, and support of veterans, making it a popular shopping spot despite minor issues with dust and pricing. Visitors recommend stopping by to browse and find quality items at affordable prices while supporting a good cause.
Excellent thrift store, amazing employees! Veronica & the girls upfront are always friendly helpful. Noah & the guys in the warehouse are always ready to help customers with takeout's & whatever is needed. Phenomenal crew & great treasures to find here!

People at the store are really nice and the store is beautifully organized. What I don’t care for are the guys in the back for receiving the donations. They aren’t very friendly always in a bad mood and witnessed them breaking donated items without any care.
