I shop here 4-6 times per month. My favorite store. Except for today. Katie M. refused to take my membership renewal. Claimed it could be that I'd have to pay twice because it doesn't always record properly. But if I had a receipt, how could they say I didn't pay my renewal? I guess I should have told her that I'm the customer so shut up and do as I ask, but I caved and put it off til next time. I'm sure she got satisfaction out of that. I have been a regular customer since this store opened, and found this (new to me) cashier to be combative and rude, and don't think she should be face to face with customers. Let her re-stock, or push carts or something.

Shout out to the very busy staff of the the food court. I went on a half hour before closing to pick up pizzas for my kids for dinner. Even with a malfunctioning ice cream machine and usual 466347 customers orders to process, the staff were quick, courteous and even apologetic for supposedly longer wait times. They all do a fantastic job, especially Michael! Keep up the great work!

I can see why people have issues with this location. Today I had an issue with an employee whose name was Kim. I went in to buy snacks for the office. Cookies, candies stuff like that. I go through self checkout, I use my Costco account to check in and I used the company card to check out. All in front of the attendant. One I finished checking out the attendant noticed that I used a different card to pay and she makes a big deal out of it and calls over Kim. Kim tells me it's not allowed and she might have to void the check, I tell her that I didn't know that I used my own Costco account. She said it doesn't matter it's fraud. Of course I get defensive because that's dumb, I tell her I didn't commit fraud, it's not fraud. She answers yeah you did, I should void this and of course she didn't because it's not fraud or at least it's not a big deal. Look, if it's against the rules just say that. Just say, it's ok this time but this really isn't allowed and stop there. Don't accuse me of committing fraud. I'm just trying to get my people snacks not trying to get accused of a felony. Makes me wonder if this Would have happened if I was white?

Every time I buy a rotisserie chicken, it's undercooked. Yes, I still buy them because they're affordable and will feed my family, but I do always have to cut it up and cook it longer in the oven. I feel like they never have chickens ready, there's always a line for them, and they end up taking them out too early because of this.

Because of the hard work of the particular pharmacy staff that were there on 1/15/2024 between the hours of 6pm-7pm, my beautiful senior girl, Pepsi, was able to get her cat antibiotics for her respiratory infection SAME DAY. Whenever an issue arose with the scrip, they made sure to call me to let me know what needed to be done to fix it. It can be tricky to get on online vet scrip filled in person, especially on the same day, but they did it! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my crazy cat lady heart!

Christine (brunette lady that works at the front, hope I got her name right) was super helpful and patient today helping me deal with my insurance. I’ve noticed often the treatment you get when you have medi-cal and are having any issues with it is often not pleasant and it feels like people generally don’t want to deal with/help you. I did not at all get that vibe today and felt like I was in good hands! Manager was also super nice (didn’t notice her name though unfortunately).Thank you Costco pharmacy for helping me out and making sure I got my meds ?

Recently visited the Costco food court service and must say that the way they pass out orders seems ineffective. I wish they would go back to the old system, I had ordered a hot dog combo but was disappointed in the wait. I hope after the holiday's, they will go back to the line system as the number calling was disorganized and inefficient.

I live in the 95835 area code of Sacramento but I like shopping here at your Citrus Heights store. Your people are kind and helpful. But today as I was waiting for my tires being installed, I went inside the food court while my wife do the shopping, I ordered my chicken bake but I forgot to ask for water, since I don't drink soda. When I approached the counter to ask for a cup of water, your guy MICHAEL yelled on me about the "NO WATER CUP". He could have said it in a nicer way, since he is in the Customer Service! I just consider it as this guy is overworked. Also, having no water cup available but you do have cup for sodas, is a weird service. I'm lucky I am not accidentally choked on that time(3:30 pm). Martha- the most unprofessional employee. I brought my vacuum back that I had just purchased a few days ago because it stopped working. She threatened that my account would be put on "lock" because of this exchange and told me this would be the first and last time I would be able to return anything to Costco. This is my first return I have ever done and not to mention I spend over $1000 a month on groceries. Martha, I think you need a different job that doesn't involve customer service.

I have been a loyal member of costco for over 15 years. The Citrus Heights location has always been my favorite location. I know that corporate has cracked down on people double dipping on memberships and I am good with that. However, this experience left me with a bad taste. My husband and I went to Costco and I left my card at home. No biggie, he had his so we are good. I use an app to do my budget and it is just easier sometimes to do the transactions for groceries and other items separately for tracking purposes. We get to the register and tell the clerk we want to do two transactions on one card. She literally grills us about do we both have a membership. I explained that yes we both are on the same account and I can show her my id to show we live in the same household. She completed the transaction but with a definite attitude and mumbling under her breath about me not having my card. Mind you, my husband used the same costco credit card to pay for both transactions. I understand their policy but this was just a case of wanting to have a separate receipt for the same account.

Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Costco. I am a teacher on a very tight budget and I splurged and paid for the executive membership. I was told not only would I be getting cash back for all of my purchases but I'd also get a gift card. I never received the gift card and like I said I'm on a tight budget so I called and asked about it. I was told that it would be credited to my membership and to tell the cashier so. So I went in and at the cash register told them verbatim what I was told. I was told that wasn't something they ever do. So I went to the membership counter where I was told the same thing and told in a couple of weeks I'd get my card. I didn't have enough money for all the things in my cart and was met by a disgruntled employee that was clearly annoyed by this fact. I've never been treated as poorly as I was today at a retail location.

Martha from membership is rude. She was not helpful in trying to find my product to return. She looked at me & said well what do you want me to do? Because she couldn't find my product. Also had horrible service won't go to her the next time.

Every single worker I spoke to was so unnecessarily rude. It was really upsetting. their food court is different from other food courts as well. They don't call your number out you wait in line to get your order and there's nothing there to signify that it's different so you're just waiting there for 40 minutes keep that in mind.

This is the worst Costco I've ever been to. The rotisserie chicken I got was raw! The ice cream drumsticks were thawed out and soggy like they had been left out and put back. The isles were so messy that it was hard to get around. Many empty shelves. Basically a s*** show. Poor warehouse management
